Can't add "Custom links" in my Moz Profile
-
Hi,
I was trying to add a custom link to my profile but I got an error message:
"There was a problem saving your custom URLs"
Can somebody look into it for me?
Kind Regards
-
Thanks, Keri. I was able to get it to save. It seems there are limitations in place with special characters and length of characters allowed within the "Title" field, and the "URL" field may be limited to the root domain only. At least that's what we deciphered from our tests. I will email help@moz.com for confirmations/clarifications.

Your best bet is to send an email to help@moz.com and they'll be able to get this sorted out for you. Thanks!

Experiences the same "can't save custom URL" on our newly created profile: https://moz.com/community/users/4247269. Saved social media URLs just fine, but won't let me save even our root websnare.com URL in that custom field. Tried logging in and out. Any other ideas?

There is a bug where that message is showing sometimes, even if things were properly saved. I'm seeing your custom URL as http://www.energieleveranciers.nl. Is this correct?

You could try the following :
- Log out then back in
- Make sure you have it in the correct format - http://www.exsample.com
- Don't panic!

Why is comment moderation blocking all my comments? There are no links in them.
For the past few days, every time I try posting a comment, no matter how long or short, how informative or simple, I've been getting the error message that the comment isn't being allowed. I only tried a few times, once on several different posts (not spamming, God forbid!), and I never include links in my comments... So what's wrong?! So frustrated, I am so not up to this right now. Why can't I share my insights and questions on Moz anymore? Gaaaaaaa!

Custom Anchor text link on Moz profile section
Hi, Does anyone know if you can modify your anchor text and URL after you reach 200 Moz points on your profile section (On the web section under image)? I am close to getting my 200 pts (btw...enjoyed the entire journey) and am trying to choose my anchor text. Here is some interesting analysis too. I have a Spanish site since we are an Argentinean firm. 1. Would a spanish word as anchor text have any value since Moz.com is an English site? I am think about semantics here and how Google likes only content relevant links. My thought is that it does today but it may not be true in the future if Google is going to do away with linkbuilding and just do semantics and co-citation. Thanks Carla
