Break in H1 tag - big, small or no problem?

Hi, I've just taken on a new ski client who offers ski instructor courses. The landing page for the keyword [ski instructor courses] was created by the web agency but with no heading tags...

Subsequently they've put them in but I've noticed the H1 tag has a break in it where 'ski' is on a separate line to 'instructor courses'
Is this an issue that need to be addressed?
Also I can't look up the page in the Moz on-page grader - any ideas why?

It looks like rogerbot is getting a 406 Not Acceptable response when he tries to crawl the URL. At this point, there's not much we could do on our end, it's more a case of getting things fixed by your developer or hosting provider.

Can you tell me what you're seeing when you try to look it up in the on-page grader? Are you getting an error of any type?

Hi Richard,
There's no problem with the br tag on your headline. You can install Moz's plugin for Chrome. It's very handy for analysing how robots read your site. Using this tool, under Page Elements you'll see your headline.
Also, I saw you are using Meta Keywords which are useless. You can remove them.
Kraig, I think you are a little bit confused about meta robots. That tag is fine.

I've just done a little more looking into it, and it turns out that the page with the tag on it is the one that you don't want the crawler to index (which makes more sense)
Google do note that pages can still appear in search results due to a lag time between crawls.
I still think though that is is what could be stopping Moz from crawling the site however, though Roger's just doing what he's told

I'd be interested in seeing more about what you're saying regarding the robots meta line. It's specific to each particular page, and doesn't mean to not crawl other pages. Google does currently have a couple of hundred pages indexed from that site right now.

I inspected the markup of your site code and found that in your there is the meta tag
I'd suggest removing this, as this will tell crawlers to only index the first page of your site. Which I doubt is what you want.
As for the multi-line keywords, I think you should be okay. Once Moz can crawl your site you can use the On Page Grading tool to see whether it picks up the keywords in the H1 tags.

Logo Image H1 Tag SquareSpace
We have a site hosted on SquareSpace: Roomhance.com Going through the on-page optimizaton tool, we noticed that the H1 tags weren't fully optimized. If you click on view source on the page, it shows 2 H1 tags on the home page: id="logoImage"><a <span="" class="html-attribute-name">href</a><a <span="" class="html-attribute-name">="</a>/">src="//static1.squarespace.com/static/5bcca055ab1a62465f5b9ee7/t/5c18feb270a6adf771765799/1588613682225/?format=1500w" alt="Virtual Staging For Real Estate | Roomhance" /> style="text-align:center;white-space:pre-wrap;">Virtual Staging The 2nd one shown above it the H1 tag we want. Should I Use WooCommerce Tags & Attributes?
I'm helping an online furniture store search engine optimize a WooCommerce store and I'm trying to make sure our taxonomies make sense. I'd love any help you guys can give, but I'm particularly interested in determining whether we should use tags. Is it OK to include name of your town to the title tag or H1 tag on a blog to enhance local search results
I recently attended a webinar by ETNA Interactive on local search SEO. The presenter recommended including the name of your town in the title of the blog to increase local search SEO. Is this OK? Ive always been concerned that it is such an obvious attempt to rank locally that Google would consider it "spammy" ? black hat, "sketchy" or otherwise manipulative. Have the rules changed? Do alt tags count towards on page keyword density?
Hello...I have written a bunch of content for my site using a useful tool called Scribe SEO which recommends keyword density at 5% if I remember correctly. So all my my newly written content is below this level but I am left wondering if by adding alt tags with my chosen keywords I will be considered to be over the limit and cause a red flag? Can anyone clarify this for me please?

Best practice for Meta-Robots tag in categories and author pages?
For some of our site we use Wordpress, which we really like working with. The question I have is for the categories and authors pages (and similiar pages), i.e. the one looking: http://www.domain.com/authors/. Should you or should you not use follow, noindex for meta-robots? We have a lot of categories/tags/authors which generates a lot of pages. I'm a bit worried that google won't like this and leaning towards adding the follow, noindex. But the more I read about it, the more I see people disagree. What does the community of Seomoz think?
