Hi all,

Recently signed upto Moz and loving what i am seeing at the moment.I do alot of microsites and push both adwords and affiliate programmes and products and earn enough to give me some fun money. For a long time i have wanted to get into the mobile phone market as i have spoken to alot of people who get anything upto £100 a time from affiliate programmes.

I have just purchased a new domain after doing some digging around and though that before i dive into doing things how i normally would , i thought id ask advice on how to best utilise the domain i have bought. Ive just purchased newiphone.co.uk and will put up a holding page once all of the registration has gone through and i have access to everything. According to Google keyword planner the term 'new iphone' gets around 368k searches a month. Moz says this is an extremely difficult keyword to rank for with a 80% difficulty rating so i appreciate i wont be at number 1 in a couple of weeks.

Id appreciate your ideas and suggestions as a community to see how i go forward.

Best SEO way to implement multi language store

Hi, I have a magento 1.7 multilanguage store with the following structure: www.example.com/nl and www.example.com (Dutch) www.example.com/uk (English) www.example.com/de (German) As you can see the dutch language basically has two url and this gives problems according to Roger. Both urls show the same page and therefor duplicate content. Should i 301 www.example.com to www.example.com/nl ?
And would this not cause problems with the indexing because www.example.com is shown when searching for my keywords. I need to have all three languages to be indexed good and used only for the correct countries.

Infographic stolen Whats my best course of action?

We designed this infographic http://www.brilliance.com/diamond-buying-tips-infograph a year ago and now i see this http://visual.ly/us-2013-diamond-jewelry-trend chop up cut and paste job around. It is clear it is stolen visullay shows its published by inboudvisibility and designed by webds a seo company. My question to all my fellow mozzers is what can i do about this? Any one have similar issues?

Best way to recruit quality SEO staff?

We are in a nice position in that we are growing everyday. As the result, we need more staff, but do not have the time to bring along someone without any real SEO background. I have used just about every source over the years to hire people with good and bad result.
For an SEO, with experience in some or all of the process: Link building, Keyword Analysis Site evaluation, eCommerce, Analytics... where do you go to find someone good? What about to find them yesterday? 😉 Obviously, they do not have to be expert at all, but they need to be familiar with all and have experience in at least two or three.

Setting up a Company Blog - Subdomain or new URL?

I've just got hold of a client without a blog (a blog is very marketable for their industry especially!). But run into the dilemma - Is it better to set up a new domain ("clientblog.com") with separate hosting or create a subdomain ("blog.clienturl.com")? Has anyone ever done a study on this and which is most beneficial? Most importantly has anyone had success with either? Thanks!

Sub domains in WMT

Does adding each sub-domain separately in WMT tell the SE that they are separate sites?
Does the fact that listing only the root domain but seeing data for the sub-domains mean that the SE is seeing them all as the same site? Any thoughts are welcome
