Link Anchor Text
-
When we have run a Open Site Explorer analysis on our own site, it says that for all our internal links the Link Anchor Text is 'Help with logging in'
I am a bit confused as to why it shows that. That text does appear in the header of the page, but is not the first piece of text.
Why is it happening on our site?
Why do I not see this on other sites?
What affect does this have on our ranking?
What's the best fix?Example page that we ran on Open Site Explorer:
www.rightboat.com/search?manufacturer=Beneteau&model=Antares+9.80

Thanks for taking a look, yesterday out of desperation to understand what was happening I replaced the text on my site with an image to see what, if anything, changes.
I have reported it to Moz, and they agree it looks odd.

I don't even see that anchor text anywhere on the site so I'm pretty puzzled too. Not sure where it is reading that text from (unless your site show's bots other source code). Hit up a Moz rep and confirm if it is a bug.

Sorry to bump, but I am pulling my hair out on this one.
I am not sure if this is a bug in Moz or if I am damaging 90% of my site.
-
Has anyone got any ideas what we are doing wrong here?

Lol, sorry for the misunderstanding. They are listed under recently found, please see attached screenshot.

I meant screenshot of "When we have run a Open Site Explorer analysis on our own site, it says that for all our internal links the Link Anchor Text is 'Help with logging in'" - i dont see that in the OSE analysis anywhere.

www.rightboat.com/search?manufacturer=Beneteau&model=Antares+9.80 --> returns no backlinks for me
www.rightboat.com --> don't see the 'Help with logging in' anchor text anywhere.
Could you send a screenshot maybe?

Should we Nofollow Social Links?
I've been asked the question of whether if we should nofollow all of our social links, would this be a wise thing to do? I'm not exactly getting a clear answer from search results and thought you guys would be best to ask 🙂 Thanks in advance.

How to set up internal linking with subcategories?
I'm building a new website and am setting up internal link structure with subcategories and hoping to do so with best Seo practices in mind. When linking to a subcategory's main page, would I make the internal link www.xxx.com/fishing/ or www.xxx.com/fishing/index.html or does it matter? I'm just trying to avoid duplicate content I guess, if Google saw each page as a separate page. Any other cautions when using subdirectories in my navigation?

Do Sitespect links get indexed?
I put a link on one of my websites using sitespect because the next release is not for a few weeks. The reason for the link is to pass domain authority (SEO Juice) to the linked site. In my next release I will add the link in the actual code, but am hoping that from now till then google will crawl and index this link. So the question is, will google crawl and index links adding to webpages via sitespect? Here is the code: | * [http://www.](<a class=)yourdomain.com" class="" >YourDomain |

How Long Until Manually Removed Anchor Text Links Stop Showing Up?
I've been manually removing spammy links from crappy sites and overly used money terms for several months... how long does it take for those links to stop showing up in crawl reports?

Quality links are beneficial, but are neutral links detrimental?
So obviously a link profile featuring quality / authoritative / relavant in-bound links is preferable, but here's my question: If I'm starting work on a brand new domain, should I build links that one would consider neutral (i.e. from a non-spammy, but unrelated site) or should I not bother and only focus on quality links? Thanks

Should I wory about spam domains linking to me?
A while ago my site had a pharmacy hack done to it and created a ton of spam links. I've since fixed the issues on my site but I'm still showing links from their sites. See screen shot: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0497cc147 I think they are links from the spam site to me and not my site "yakanger" linking to them correct? Do I need to worry about these? Can I get rid of them?
