About wordpress database

Hi Guys,
During the time I have installed wordpress many times on differents folder of my hosting service for making some experiment. how can I make sure this has not slowed down and dirty my database?
Because I'm afraid to have deleted the wordpress folders in the pasts instead of uninstall wordpress from the wordpress autoinstall panel
Could old wordpress database (that I don't use any more) slow down my primary wordpress installation?Sorry for my bad english and thank u... I am a little ignorant about databases and I am afraid about put hand on them.

If you have old wordpress databases sitting around, it would only be a problem if you still have the WP that's connected to them still around also. If so, anyone (or a bot) that visits the old installs would be pulling data from the DB and thus draining a small fraction of resources away from your current install of WP. This shouldn't be a problem, considering you mentioned they are experimental and I assume are not in production. The more pull on the database, the more bogged down your server could become at a given time; usually not an issue unless you get sudden spikes of traffic on your experimental WP installs; which would slow production WP down. Hope that made sense.

I have great experience with wordpress sites and I don't have a bad word to say about the CMS, there are plugins available for everything you possibly need to develop the blog. On-page SEO opinion on this Wordpress theme
Hi everyone. As an SEO agency we've been moving more toward genesis themes, however we have a client who really wants to redesign his website using the following theme: http://themeforest.net/item/this-way-wp-full-videoimage-background-with-audio/943634 - the theme would be images with no audio on the homepage. He is a remodeling contractor and likes the design and functionality of the theme. I'd like to get others feedback and opinions on what you think about the on-page SEO of this theme? Thanks.

Switching over to wordpress
Hello fellow Mozers! I've searched to see if I find an answer, cant seem to find it. Is there a way to do a blanket 301 redirect? I am moving a site that has all pages end with .html extension over to wordpress. I was wondering if I could set up a rule that says redirect all pages with .html extension to a version of the page with no extension. I will keep the same url with the exception of the .html extension. http://www.website.com/page.html to http://www.website.com/page/

Deciding which Wordpress Platform
Hey Guys, I am trying to choose which is the best platform to use to build my website. I have had a look at the following: studiopress thesis headway woothemes I've just spent a month building a website using the WIX platform only to find out that it's not SEO friendly, so before I start a new site, I just want to make sure I choose the BEST SEO FRIENDLY theme. Can someone suggest a good wordpress plugin for compressing images?
I am building a new website and it has 500+ photo images. I've got less than 100 in there at the moment and the page speed is already very slow. Why on earth did you say you could get a quality template designed and coded for a few hundred bucks? Im a professional designer, I expect to make 75 an hour which is actually low. And you think I should be able to design and code a high quality wordpress site in a few hours. You are killing my business and encouraging people to hire low quality developers or take work out of America. Im very offended by your comments. Why dont you try living on 5 bucks an hour !!
