LDA vs Farmer/Panda Update

Has anyone re-run the correlation data for webpages' LDA Score since Google's Farmer/Panda update? I still have my writers use the LDA Tool and I am curious to know if there was a significant change in correlation now that "quality content" is touted as a more important ranking factor by Google.

/essions/essions keeps appending to 1 url on our website

Moz keeps giving us an error showing URL too long, when I investigate the offending url, I get this in the crawl. We can't work out what /essions is or why it's appending to the end of the url. Is this a Moz or website issue? <colgroup><col width="841"></colgroup>

Inbound Links/Spam Score - Disavow

Hi I have been using the Links tool in our Pro account on Moz, using the MOZ spam score/inbound links tool I can identify the linking domains and their spam rating. It shows we currently have around 4.8k linking domains and when I export the data I receive information like below. (Name - Spam Score)

Is www.domain.com/page the same url as www.domain.com/page/ for Google? (extra slash at end of url)

Dear all, in open site explorer there is a difference the url's 'www.domain.com/page' and 'www.domain.com/page/' (extra slash at end). There can be different values in pageauthority etc. in the open site explorer tool, but is this also the case for Google? Thanks for replying, Regards, Ben

Hi, I run a campaign on one of my new clients in the links report - i see 1970 - external links and i can press " see more in open site explorer) when i press the button, open site explorer is opened but with a message that there is no link data on this website any advice? OpenExplorer vs Majestic results...?

I'm checking one of my competitors out, dubdubdub ny maids com, in both OpenExplorer and MajesticSEO. The former is showing about 2600 links from 850 domains (historic), while the latter is showing 58 links from 20 domains. I don't see that SEOMoz has a historic feature, which is vague to begin with, but even the 'fresh index' of MajesticSEO is showing more backlinks than SEOMoz. Could someone explain this dramatic difference in services? And could they also comment on how strong of an actual link profile they have? It's clearly a very old domain, which I realize has some weight, but with so many services showing such different results, I'm having a tough time discerning what it would take to dethrown them. Why would a site w/lower metrics across the board have the highest DA?

We are competing with other national brands and have a competitor who is NOT a national brand and who does NOT have any metrics ranking higher. With the latest SEOMoz metric update this week, they (hawaiianjewelryshop) now have the highest DA in Link Analysis. Has anyone else experienced this? Can SEOMoz explain this for us, please? It would be great if Matt Peters would respond to this question. The sites in question are: www.nahoku.com

Linkscape update tracking

I've got two questions really. First, is there anyway to compare your current Linkscape updates with previous updates? Second, I've made a concerted effort to gain accumulate links in strong performing domains over the past 3 months. However, Linkscape does not seem to be finding those links. Some of them are pretty straight forward, like Yahoo Directory (this went live last month). Is there a lag time between when I link to a page and when Linkscape picks up. Thanks,

On Page Report Card... with or w/o local modifiers?

Hey all! So I am curious how you recommend using the "on page report card" (which is really helpful) along with the concept of local modifiers. IE, here is a term I am going after: business forums but really I care about a specific location: business forums | Greensboro NC So the word I hear is typically to do your keyword research & page optimization FOR the primary term, but then tack on your local modifiers after. So which do you run reports on? Probably both is the best answer, eh? Obviously my local sites won't have a shot at ranking nationally/internationally for such a broad term as "business forums", especially with some monster sites out there with some serious clout. This is more of a best practices question. Thanks dudes.
