SEO changing from Wix Flash too Wix HTML

I have a Wix flash website www.theonlinefloorwarehouse.com.au which is number one in Google search for most of our main products
Due to having a large number of changes and the draw backs with flash I pads etc I have rebuilt it in Wix HTML temporarily under this URL www.laminateflooringperth.net.au/
Now I find out Wix uses Ajax technology which most people say is useless for SEO
after months of work I do not know weather to switch to the HTML site or not
perhaps I should use both sites ?
Has any one switched to HTML from Flash, was there a drop in or higher rankings ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi John,
Typically when you switch from Flash to HTML, you'll see a nice bump in organic traffic as search engines have a hard time with most flash sites.
In your case, you are using the hash bang to deliver content to users and the escaped fragments to deliver content to search engines on your new site. While this should be ok, it isn't always. It should be more effective for you than your main current site though. SEO-Browser is a good tool to simulate how a search engine would see your site. You can see your old site here (note, from the cached version it appears that Google is actually accessing some of your flash content) and your new site here.
Ideally, you'd have a site that relies entirely on HTML/CSS to display your content to users. In your case, I'd feel comfortable updating the main site to the new version. A couple notes here -
- make sure you remove the noindex tag from the new site when you transition from the old site to the new site
- you shouldn't have the two sites accessible by search engines at the same time as they utilize much of the same content
I've never heard of anyone going to a Wix site for SEO. If you want to use a simple CMS that is good for SEO, I'd recommend WordPress.

Express js and SEO?
Hi fellow Mozzers, I have been tasked with providing some SEO recommendations for a website that is to be built using express.js and Angular. I wondered whether anyone has had any experience in such a framework? IP Change
Hello MOZ friends! We recently changed servers and subsequently had a change in IP. It's a better and faster server but have seen a significant drop in SERPS. Could this be a result of moving the site? Thanks!

Changing URLs
As of right now we are using yahoo small business, when creating a product you have to declare an id, when we created the site we were not aware that you will not be able to change the id but also the ID is being used as the URL. we have a couple thousand products in which we will need to update the URLs. What would the best way to be to fix this without losing much juice from our current pages. Also I was thinking that if we did them all in a couple weeks it would hurt us a lot, and the best course of action would be to do a slow roll out of the URL changes. Any help is appreciated. Change of domain name?
Hello, We are currently developing a new site for an existing online clothing retailer. The existing site is on a .co.uk domain, however we are targeting a global market and wondered whether we could/should launch the new site under a .com address and whether this would be beneficial? Adding .html To Wordpress Site
I am working on a team (my part is the SEO) where the developer added the .html extension to the permalinks. I don't understand why, on Wordpress, you would do this. Is there any benefit, or penalty for it as an SEO standpoint? I usually just set mine up %postname% as the permalink structure, but I am not the web design lead on this project. I asked the designer why, but he seems to be reluctant to answer any of my emails about his work, (like he is above that or something). Not wanting to make things worse, I dropped it and thought I would ask here since I saw a few posts in reference to it today in the forum. Is there an advantage or disadvantage (either way) to using the .html extension on a Wordpress site?

Global SEO Targeting
Hi, I have a website currently on the domain example.co.uk (.com is not available) I'm looking to enter other markets such as Brazil, Russia - obviously content will need to change to suit the desired market / language. Switching Hosting & SEO
Hello friends, We are facing the prospect of switching to a new hosting account or company. We are currently using a third-party reseller account but are outgrowing that account. We are considering VPS and dedicated servers. However, this will mean updates for IPs and nameservers. Does anyone have experience with SEO consequences of making switch? Best practices? Tips?
