Has anyone used Ninjapinner? I'm interested in automating my Pinterest efforts a little, and have seen this tool mentioned. Interested in using it to (carefully) autofollow accounts.

No but I've heard of it. I tried their Ninjagram program and it seemed like an okay tool, although I was quickly blocked by Instagram. Would be interested to see how this turns out. I think they have a free trial that you can use for a few hours.

Do having social sharing icons such as Twitter and Pinterest slow down site speed?

We are debating a redesign of a travel site and wondering whether having social sharing buttons including Pinterest and Facebook above each image would slow down site speed and therefore have a negative impact on our rankings. Anyone use the new "Social Settings" in Google Analytics?

In the past couple of months, Google rolled out a tab called "Social Settings" in the Admin area (see image). It's an optional setting, and Google is rather vague about what it does. GA already tracks social in "Traffic Sources," so what is the advantage of using Social Settings? If you've used these new settings, what have your experiences been? Were the settings helpful? Open Site Exporer Social Media Data Accuracy. Anyone notice this?

On my homepage http://www.shipoverseas.com, I have 142 FB Likes, 9 Tweets, 3 +1s. In OSE it shows, FB Likes 86, Tweets 4, and 3 +1s. Does anyone know why there is a discrepancy? I am using AddThis.

Facebook code used in Huffington Post

I like the call-to-action button that HuffPo uses on its FB button, where with one click, a user on their site can 'Like' their main page on Facebook without actually having to go there (assuming that they're logged in, of course). I'd love to use it on my site but... I'm trying to understand how this works. It seems like it's a custom wrapper, as i'm not seeing the toolset in dev tools (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ etc) Anyone know about this?

How much power does using keywords on Facebook and Twitter have from an SEO perspective?

Hi all, When we add a new Christmas party package onto our website I always tweet about it with a link to the party page, utilizing a tweet such as : "New Manchester Christmas parties", followed by the link. How much power (if any) does utilizing the key phrase Manchester Christmas parties have on SEO for that page? Bearing in mind the link is shortened and doesn't mention the keywords anywhere in it, they are only present in the tweet itself. Similarly, on our company Facebook page I always post a link with a title such as "check out our new Manchester Christmas parties". Does this have much SEO benefit for the page I'm directing the link to? Many thanks!!
