Total links
-
Hi there,
Root domain metrics
I do not understand the "Total links" metric. I was checking this domain: domesticviolenceuk.org. The total links value (11k) is huge compared to the sum of external and internal links (429 + 221). Why?
Is that because 221 is the number of internal links to the single page and not to the root domain? If so, it would mean this domain has 10k internal links.
Thank you.

Hi Willy,
Thanks for the great question. I think the difference you are seeing is indeed the difference between the amount of internal, external, followed and nofollowed links for a specific page as opposed to for all pages on the root or sub domain together.

When I run that domain through OSE I am getting much different stats than you have listed. I am showing 309 total links from 14 root domains.

How to find lost internal links
I've been seeing a large decline in internal followed links over the past couple of months and am trying to figure out the cause. My developer says there have been no changes to the site that would cause this. Is there a way to find what internal links have been lost?

URL column of Link Explorer reports do not have the protocol (http or https)
I exported from Link Explorer. In the URL column, there is no protocol for each URL. Isn't the protocol part of what makes a url? I'm crawling each with http:// and https:// but it feels like this info could just be in the report. Am I missing a step?

Open Site Explorer - Just Discovered Inbound Links
Hello Moz Forum, Thanks in advance for any help. My website was recently featured in a bunch of high DA journals and magazines. I don't see the inbound links on the open site explorer, but I do see them in recently discovered. My website's Domain Authority hasn't changed a wink. How long does it take, typically to see the recently discovered links under the inbound links portion? Thanks! j1pqVRt

No incoming links from DMOZ in my report
Hi, I am confused, after so much years of waiting, some months ago I got listed in the DMOZ http://www.dmoz.org/World/Español/Tiempo_libre/Turismo/Blogs/ (My blog is Charcotrip) The problem is that when I check the incoming list in the MOZ report, the DMOZ link is totally absent, I don't get it. Does anyone knows why can this happening? (is not that my blog get recently listed, now it has been there for a while). Thanks!
