Rich Snippets stopped showing up in SERPS
-
i had some rich snippets (recipes nad stars) showing on my site, but the last few days they have gone, has anyone had this happen, if so what did you do to get them back?
The example URL is as follows
http://www.gourmed.gr/syntages/pestrofa-sto-tigani-synodeyomeni-me-sauvignon-2003-karypidis
everything seems ok in Google Structured Data Testing Tool.
Any thoughts on why?
-
Ah, yes, the product will need reviews before it shows up. In my experience, specifically with rich snippet ratings, they don't usually show up immediately. A couple things can help to get them to appear quicker. Sometimes it seemed that products that had more reviews appeared first. Also, once your markup is correct you can go into Google WMT and resubmit the pages to the index using the 'Fetch As Google' tool. You can also check to see what pages the structured data markup is being found on with the 'Search Appearance > Structured Data' section in Google WMT.

Hi,
It was because nobody has voted for the recipe
I also removed the Attorney
but still no chance...

Hello,
I don't see the ratings being marked up on the testing tool page.
Also the schema category is showing up as 'Attorney'. Seems like your site is cooking related so not sure that this is the correct category. These could both be reasons that your appearance of snippets in the SERPs have changed.

Anyone come accross a completely random site name displayed in the SERPs?
Hello SEO friends, I am looking at a site that has a completely random site name displayed in the serps. The site in question is a hypnotherapy service and the site name is displaying as a commercial cargo airline! See the screen shot. Any ideas? There is 'local business' structured data on the site and it IS showing the correct business name. Is this a hack? Negative SEO attack? Random Google stuff up? Help! Very confused! Thank you for any advice! Sean!Untitled.jpg

We want to confirm whether content in collapsible menus negatively affects SEO and/or featured snippets on Google. We're hoping to add a menu to answer some frequently asked questions and attract featured snippets, while also creating a positive user experience/not clogging up the page. Ecommerce Rich Snippets Category Question
Hello Technical question: I have category pages in my site - and product pages in my site. Category Pages I Have listed Grouped products on them ( i.e. a product that could have multiple offers for each size ) I Have the relevant markup for them ( one for each product ) . Product Pages The Product pages have grouped products as well - but the individual simple products are note marked up. The Product pages have Aggregate reviews on them. My question is this: Should I use the grouped product sku to identify the grouped product on the category page and the product page? Technically they aren't Stock Keeping Units ( SKU's ) - but they could be used to link the 2 together to avoid duplicates. Ideas?

What happens to a domain in SERPs when it's set to redirect to another?
We have just acquired a competing website and are wondering whether to leave it running as is for now, or set the domain to redirect to our own site. If we set up this redirect, what would happen to the old site in Google SERPs? Would the site drop off from results? If so, would we capture this new search traffic or is it a free for all and all sites compete for the search traffic as normal? Thanks in advance. Paul

Why does Google show Titles different than the coded titles?
Hi, I've noticed that on many pages Google shows on the SERPS titles that he chose for me and not necessarily the ones coded in the Title tag (usually small difference like adding suffix etc.). Why is that? Thanks

Hello... I have an ecomm clients who's competing against Amazon in the SERPs. Amazon does a great job of leveraging micro-data. Here's the rub... Amazon is ranking for product level pages and my client is ranking for category level pages. How can my client leverage micro-data to 'compete'?
