Hi,
The https-pages of our booking section are being indexed by Google. We added
But the pages are still being indexed. What can I do to exclude these URL's from the Google index?
Thank you very much in advance!
Kind regards,

Assuming the website we're talking about is the same as in your email address, I find the meta robots tag
For the page https:// webshop . acsi . eu / en / checkout / onepage / (spaced to prevent indexation of this post).
Are you sure the right meta tags are in place?

The only solution I can think of is to use an htaccess file to determine if you're using SSL or not and then feed up a special robots.txt to disallow crawling for the SSL site.

Hidden H1 Tag on Image
Hi, In the page I'm working on, I encountered an tag in an image, rather than in a text form. Do you think it's an issue when it comes to SEO?

What do you suggest I should do if there is an issue? Keen to hear from you!0 -
Product Tags
Opencart allows the use of product tags (please note, these are NOT meta tags) which I believe are used for when customers want to search for a product using the search function. So one of my tags could be ''star wars socks'', and when a customer types this into the search it brings up every product containing the tag for socks. This is all good and well, however, these tags appear on the product page itself, right below the Manufacturer/Brand, and above the price (they created pages but I have canonical links in them so that is a non-issue). Will Google look kindly on this or could it be considered as keyword stuffing? Or will Google know they're for search and ignore them? I just need to know whether or not removing them entirely will be a good or bad idea.

Magento Canonical Tags
Magento pages have been giving me a lot of trouble with the canonical tags. In some cases duplicate pages are showing up, so I need to add the canonical tag. In other cases I'm getting an error that there are multiple canonical tags per page. How can I get my pages canonized without duplicate tags? It seems like it's either too much or not enough, no matter what I do. Note: this only applies to category and product pages.

De-indexing thin content & Panda--any advantage to immediate de-indexing?
We added the nonidex, follow tag to our site about a week ago on several hundred URLs, and they are still in Google's index. I know de-indexing takes time, but I am wondering if having those URLs in the index will continue to "pandalize" the site. Would it be better to use the URL removal request? Or, should we just wait for the noindex tags to remove the URLs from the index?
