How to add specific Tumblr blogs into a disavow file?

Hi guys,

I am about to send a reconsideration letter and still finalizing my disavow file. The format of the disavow is

Domain:badlink.com (stripping out to the root domain)

but what about those toxic links that are located in tumblr such as: badlink.tumblr.com? The issue is that there are good tumblr links we got so I don't want to add just tumblr.com so do you guys think I will have issues submitting badlink.tumblr.com and not tumblr.com?

You should be fine submitting the subdomain link. I assume you have taken steps to have the links removed already?

Hi everyone, Recently I have faced a crawl issue with my media images on website. For example this page url https://intreface.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Horion-screen-side-2.png has 302 HTTP Status and the recommendation is to change it 301. I have read the article on temporary redirections here:

but its not written here how to redirect in my HTML 1 image url not the landing page.

Best way to handle Breadcrumbs for Blog Posts in multiple categories?

The site in question uses Wordpress. They have a Resources section that is broken into two categories (A or B). Underneath each of these categories is 5 or 6 subcategories. The structure looks like this: /p/main-category-a/subcategory/blog-post-name /p/main-category-b/subcategory/blog-post-name All posts have a main category, but other posts often have multiple subcategories while some posts also fall into both main categories. What would be the easiest or most effective way to auto-populate the breadcrumb based on from where the person reached the blog post? So for example, a way to set Home -> Main Category -> Subcategory 1 as the breadcrumb if they reach it from the Subcategory 1 landing page. Or is this not possible and we should just set the breadcrumb manually based on where we feel it best lives? Thanks.

Trying to find all internal links to a specific page (without index)

Hi guys -- Still waiting on Moz to index a page of mine. We launched a new site over two months ago. In the meantime, I really just need a list of internal links to a specific page because I want to change its URL. Does anybody know how to find that list (of internal links to 1 of my pages) without the Moz index? I appreciate the help!

Sub Domains and Robot.txt files...

This is going to seem like a stupid question, and perhaps it is but I am pulling out what little hair I have left. I have a sub level domain on which a website sits. The Main domain has a robots.txt file that disallows all robots. It has been two weeks, I submitted the sitemap through webmaster tools and still, Google has not indexed the sub domain website. My question is, could the robots.txt file on the main domain be affecting the crawlability of the website on the sub domain? I wouldn't have thought so but I can find nothing else. Thanks in advance.

Add Small Relevant Posts to website?

Hello Everyone, I'm starting a new WordPress-based community site WP Temple. As a part of this site, i'm going to be adding a "Code Snippets" Section which will show visitors how to do very specific things on their site. These snippets, by nature, will be small articles but contain highly-relevant for search. Should this content be indexed and followed, as well as added to my XML sitemap? I appreciate the feedback! Subdomain for a blog

My client has a site hosted with a company that allows very little customization including I am unable to add a blog to the site. As he has a fair amount of time & money invested in the site, he is reluctant to start over. So my question is this. His blog is currently hosted off site, would it benefit him if I had them add a cname or a record to show his blog at blog.mydomain.com? Or does Google recognize that it is still a separate site and treat it as such? Finally does it matter how they set it up cname, a record or redirect? This is definitely not my area of expertise (if that is not already obvious from the question!). Thanks for your help! Matthew

How Add 503 status to IIS 6.0

Hi, Our IS department is bringing down our network for maintenance this weekend for 24 hours. I am worried about search engine implications. all Traffic is being diverted, and the diverted traffic is being sent to another server with IIS 6.0 From all research i have done it appears creating a custom 503 error message in IIS 6 is not possible Source: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb877968.aspx So my question is does anyone have any suggestions on how to do a proper 503 temporarily unavailable in IIS 6.0 with a custom error message? Seomoz is showing duplicate page content for my wordpress blog
