4xx fix

Hi
I have quite a lot of 4xx errors on our site. The 4xx occurred because I cleaned poor URLs that had commas etc in them so its the old URLs that now 4xx. There are no links to the URLs that 4xx.What is the best way of rectifying this issue of my own making?!

No, I would recommend that you fix the underlying issue. I can see from your sitemap that you still have the URL's with commas in.
Personally I would use screamingfrog.co.uk to find your crawl errors as you will not need to wait a week for the next report.

I was waiting for the next crawl as I thought the 4xx would be removed from the crawl diagnostics, however I received a new crawl report today and they are still listed in the report.
I think the simplest way to remove the 4xx would be to create 301s for the URLs. Would you agree? -
So since you tidied the URL's has moz crawled your site again or are you waiting for the next crawl?

Where are you seeing the errors being reported? If you have corrected the problem with the error URL's and there are no links to theses URL's then there should not be a problem.
If however you are seeing theses URL's in the search results then yes a 301 redirect would be appropriate.

Bigcommerce only allows us to have https for our store only, not the other pages on our site, so we have a mix of https and http, how is this hurting us and what's the best way to fix?
So we aren't interested in paying a thousand dollars a month just to have https when we feel it's the only selling point of that package, so we have https for our store and the rest of the site blogs and all are http. 3 google map listings. How do I fix this
I have just started working on this website www.wallybuysell.com and I am wanting to get some feedback on how to fix a problem I have encountered. When I search for my business on Google maps there are 2 listings there. One lists the wrong website and the other one I can make changes too. Also when I search for the business in google local there is another page. How do I fix this ? How is this happening? Would love some help on this one.

Fixing a website redirect situation that resulted in drop in traffic
Hi, I'm trying to help someone fix the following situation: they had a website, www.domain.com, that was generating a steady amount of traffic for three years. They then redesigned the website a couple of months ago, and the website developer redirected the site to domain.com but did not set up analytics on domain.com. We noticed that there was a drop in traffic to www.domain.com but have no idea if domain.com is generating any traffic since analytics wasn't installed. To fix this situation, I was going to find out from the developer if there was a good reason to redirect the site. What would have prompted the developer to do this if www.domain.com had been used already for three years? Then, unless there was a good reason, I would change the redirect back to what it was before - domain.com redirecting to www.domain.com. Presumably this would allow us to regain the traffic to the site www.domain.com that was lost when the redirect was put in place. Does this sound like a reasonable course of action? Is there anything that I'm missing, or anything else that I should do in this situation? Thanks in advance! Carolina

How do I fix a 301 Redirect Loop?
Saturday I waas doing some correcting of some duplicate titles, including nofollowing tags, etc. (my main problem was duplicate titles due to tags and categories being indexed). Now this morning I see that one of my pages refuses to load, citing a 301 redirect loop. http://www.incredibleinfant.com/feeding/switching-baby-formula/ Originally, the page was posted under the wrong category. http://www.incredibleinfant.com/uncategorized/switching-baby-formula I resaved it under the correct category (feeding) and now it won't load. How do fix twin home pages
Search engine analysis is indicating that my site has twin home pages (www.mysite.com and http://mysite.com). The error message I'm getting is: "your website resides at both www.mysite.com and mysite.com. My uploaded index page is a .htm page (not .html). I don't know if that matters. Can someone explain how this happened and what I can do to fix it? Thanks!

Fixing Missing MetaTag Errors
Hey all, I just had a crawl test done on my site(created using wordpress) and I received a ton of missing meta tag descriptions to fix. The odd thing is though I use "All in One" SEO Tool and the actual pages or posts on the site do have meta tag descriptions, however I noticed for every post an RSS Feed is being automatically generated and this Feed is the link missing the meta tag descriptions. Most of the errors display "Comments on" with a /feed in the end of the url. I am totally clueless on how to resolve these errors as I havent installed any WP plugins that generate feeds automatically. Has anyone encountered this problem before or know how to fix this?? The site url is http:// GovernmentGrantsAustralia . org I have left spaces above to avoid being a link dropper 🙂 Would really appreciate if anyone can help!
