Track bounce rate per PPC keyword

Hi all
Wondering if anyone could give me a nudge in the right direction with this please.
When running an adwords campaign is there a way in which one can track the bounce rate on the landing page per keyword sending paid traffic? I've had a play about in adwords and GA and couldn't find the right option.
The site I am sending traffic to is not a ecommerce site so cannot set up conversion tracking so we are going to monitor the bounce rates of different keywords and drop the ones which are bouncing much higher than others as it seems better to invest the budget in those words which are keeping people on the page for longer.

Many thanks for the reply. Yes, I have the GA and Adwords linked so set up the link. Slightly scared to notice 20% of the keywords were bouncing at 100%. Eeek!
Time to find me some new keywords I think!

Do you have your GA & AdWords accounts linked? If so, you can import GA data into AdWords and vice versa. There is a "bounce rate" column that you can add into AdWords across the board, including at a keyword level... Not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for but hopefully that helps!

Not sure if there is a new method however I have successfully used the following in a similar situation:
On each AdWord Ad use the following destination URL format: yousite.com/?keyword={keyword}

Custom funnel tracking - Google analytics - premium or normal
If I have funnel with more options on same step. E.g. PDP (product detail page) --> "Sign in page A" or "Sign in page B" (customer can choose) --> "Thank you page" How can I track both options in same funnel? Viability of PPC for Competitive Keywords?
My company is a commercial real estate agency in New York City that helps businesses acquire office space. We are thinking of running a PPC campaign on Google Adwords. However our targeted keywords can cost up to $30 each. Perhaps we can spend $2,000 to $3,000 per month. Is there any way to predict if this campaign would be cost effective? If only 1 out of 15 site visitors generated by the PPC campaign contacts our firm, and one out of ten of those is a viable prospect, and we close with one out of five of those, it would mean that it would cost 750 clicks per transaction. If an average click is $20, that means that we would need to spend $15,000 per transaction. Our average commission is $20,000. So this is very marginal. Is my calculation overlooking something? Office space for lease nyc I might ad that we are competing against huge companies like Loopnet, Weworks, Regus, and several large real estate brokerages and landlords. Also, many of PPC visitors are running office space like searches when they are looking for shared executive office suites with very short term leases. This is not our market, we are seeking tenants that need their own demised space for a lease term of at least 3 years. Is there any way PPC can filter out clicks so we don't pay for visits from the executive office suite market? The site that we would be marketing is www.metro-manhattan.com Thanks,

Any possibility to track goal completions/conversions at a sub-page (non-landing page) level in Google Analytics?
We’re promoting our sub-page it's http://www.flightcentre.ca/flights/london on our homepage under the slideshow so I need to see how many people went to the homepage, then went to this page, and then converted (enquired or booked.) What I can’t see is how many people did that. I know how to look up how many people landed on that page and then converted, but I need to know how many people navigated there and then converted. Is that possible? I can only see Goal Completions if I look at that page as a landing page, but that only presents a very slim view of the total visits when compared to those pages generally. Any way to check the entire behavior or activities happening through this page i.e. /flights/london?

Goal Tracking WIth Optimizely
Hi Guys, I am finally delving into the world of conversion rate optimization and split A/B Testing. It's all going well, have crazy egg for heatmapping (which is bringing up some interesting stuff) and I have decided to test some changes. I have setup a variation in optimizely, so i can see what effect the change would have, but i am struggling. Goal Tracking in Google Analytics
Hi guys, I just want to ask if you have videos or blogs about setting up goal tracking using conversion page or a "thank you page" in Google Analytics. This will help me to get how many inquiries (from contact form) I am getting and for me to know where they came from using Google Analytics (countries, source/site they used, time on site, category page and landing page, etc.). #2 question - In case I don't have a "thank you" page, is it possible for me to get these "goals"? Hi, With Adwords conversion tracking is it worth allow Analytics data in as well? Does that confuse the adwords tracking data? Does it only include Analytics data that has been set up for conversion tracking? I hope i am asking the right questions 🙂

61.45% Shopping Cart Abandon Rate - How to troubleshoot?
Hello MozPeeps! I wanted to see if I could get some help on the best method for troubleshooting our abandoned shopping cart funnel. Maybe point me in the best areas to research, or what are the best tools to use, or an improved method for analyzing and interpreting the existing data for more clarity about what is happening. I have attached the screen shot that shows what's going on. This account is using a Magento shopping cart with a custom built checkout page that is trying to copy Overstock.com's checkout page. Here are my thoughts: 1. Use Clicktale to monitor the checkout pages in question to try and get a feel for what people are doing or why they are clicking off? 2. Use another tool (not sure which one) that allows us to monitor page load speeds for the checkout process to see if orders are being hung up by slow loading pages. 3. Or, maybe 62% is not an uncommon abandoned cart rate and therefore we should just focus on automating abandoned cart follow up emails for the customers.
