My website is not avaliable, will i lose ranking?

My website was not available during 12 hours and i think that i will lose ranking by that.
What do you think about it? Will i lose rankings?
Some URL were lost during the drop of server, what should i do? Create again? Delete on GWT?

As Matt Cutts says in the video Prestashop links to, a short period of downtime should not hurt at all. Google understands that short outages happen fairly regularly. If you know that the site is going to be down for longer, try to serve a 503 server status, indicating that the site is "unavailable" rather than "not found" (404) or "gone" (410).

What exactly do you mean by this? That the rankings were lost or the files were deleted? If the files were deleted but you want those pages back, re-create the files and upload them again to the same location they lived in before, i.e. re-creating the same URLs. If you mean that some URLs lost their rankings but that the files / URLs still exist, you will need to wait a little while to see if their rankings come back. I expect that they will: a 12 hour downtime should not hurt you permanently.

The problem is beyond the site being unavailable for 12 hours. That is a small issue. YOu are stating that you lost URL's during this time, how? If the url was a ranked page, it won't rank if it doesn't exist.

Hi All, My website URL is https://thepeopeople.com and it is neither caching nor indexing in Google. Earlier the URL was https://peopeople.com. I have redirected it to https://thepeopeople.com by using 301 redirections. Does 404 hurts my website.? My website reporting 404 crawl errors on pages that have never been part of the website. Site showing lot of 404 errors and all errors from Blog.We didn't create any pages .Automatically pages are created and showing 404 (Not Found) error response..Please any one help me to identify those issues.?

Duplicate Version of My Website
Hello Again, Looking for a little help to help me understand what exactly is going on here. Ive taken over maintenance of a website and have so far fixed a lot of issues. ahrefs has shown me that a second version of my companies website exists that exists at a second url. This second website is linked to the actual company website like I haven't seen before. www(dot)#(dot)co(dot)uk is the main company website. But a second accessible version exists and is accessible at www(dot)#(dot)co(dot)uk The instruments version is a direct copy and all of the links point directly to my main site. Any changes I make on the main version are automatically applied to the other version. It shows up as a SPAM back link on moz as all of the link points to my website etc Ideally in my mind, the instruments version homepage should simply re-direct to the main homepage to solve this "duplicate content and spammy backlink" issue however, the instruments version is the same suffix that all our company emails work with. Basically, HELP lol. I have no understanding of how this is set up, and the best way in which to deal and if it could affect anything such as company emails.

So weird sudden drop in rankings
Hi All, ok so at the beginning of July we launched our new website, SEVEN weeks later we have dropped completly off all rankings what-so-ever, (except brand) but weirdly if i pan between browsers we dont use (for saved searches/cookies etc) sometimes the rankings show up where they used to be. Whats strange is we get crawled daily but it took seven weeks for our rankings to drop, ive done all testing i can - no manual actions, no updates when we dropped (15th Aug) no real differences in webmaster tools, no crawl errors, no massive rise in 404s, 500s etc etc, im really a bit stumped! Any help would be mucho appreciated in diagnosing this stumper!

Website Migration Query
We are going to migrate our site but we cannot do this gradually, so before we complete the whole migration, we were thinking of launching the new site on a sub-domain and gradually redirect traffic to the sub-domain, starting with 10%, moving up steadily so that we then migrate to the new site within four/five weeks. The new site will have a new URL structure on the same domain, with a complete re-design and the IP address will be changing as well, even though the server geographical location will remain the same. a) Should we noindex the new sub-domain while the new site is on trial? b) Are there any other issues we should look out for?
