Quick H1 Above the Fold Question

I was wondering if the H1 for this page was alright even though it is below the fold: http://www.seniorplanning.org/assisted-living-phoenix-arizona/. Any suggestions/comments would be very helpful. Thank you!

I love these types of questions
It always gives me a chance to support one of my favorite tools, SEO-browser. This tool allows you to see what a search sees when they come to your site. What you see is not always accurate. Here is a quick crawl of your page in question:
You can see that your H1 shows up high in the content, and that the image slider is not pushing your site further down other than visually. I don't think that the "above the fold" is as important as other areas of the algo. I have seen hundreds of sites do amazingly well with very large or fullscreen image sliders, and H1's after the scroll. As long as you are covering your main keywords in your content, H tags, meta and page titles effectively, I think you will be fine.
If you are going to do some edits on your site, bookmark that tool. It helps to see when sidebar headers or template headers are rendering out as h1, h2, or h3's.

It might be a little too low IMO. We've heard there may be algorithmic impact by having the H1 too low, but I doubt that'd be much of a noticeable issue (never tested this ourselves though). I think more importantly you may run the risk of your users pogo-sticking from the search results, to the page, and back again because they don't see the words aligning with their search term fast enough. It looks like you could stand to reduce the size of the logo, the padding, and the main banner image without losing much visual appeal. That would help get the H1 text a little closer to the top.

Logo Image H1 Tag SquareSpace
We have a site hosted on SquareSpace: Roomhance.com Going through the on-page optimizaton tool, we noticed that the H1 tags weren't fully optimized. If you click on view source on the page, it shows 2 H1 tags on the home page: id="logoImage"><a <span="" class="html-attribute-name">href</a><a <span="" class="html-attribute-name">="</a>/">src="//static1.squarespace.com/static/5bcca055ab1a62465f5b9ee7/t/5c18feb270a6adf771765799/1588613682225/?format=1500w" alt="Virtual Staging For Real Estate | Roomhance" /> style="text-align:center;white-space:pre-wrap;">Virtual Staging The 2nd one shown above it the H1 tag we want. What's the difference between the Page Title and the H1 title? It seems like both summarize the page. Is it a wasted opportunity to make them the same? Should they be similar but slightly different?

Clickable Images Question
This may seem like a minor issue but it is something that has been bothering me. When I write a blog post and place images within the text, is it better to have the image linking to nothing or link to the image url. I am guessing that unless I wish the image to rank for a certain keyword then it is not worth it linking to the image url. But would just like clarification if there is a more deep seated reason. I look many times on google that what is the best tag to set in title for seo, H1 or H2 or H3 In many forums and sites they are asking that you need to put only H2 tag in title and someone ask to put H1 in title and i am confused, Some body tell me the correct tag for seo in google, or any other search engine.

Break in H1 tag - big, small or no problem?
Hi, I've just taken on a new ski client who offers ski instructor courses. The landing page for the keyword [ski instructor courses] was created by the web agency but with no heading tags... http://www.snowrehab.com/ski-instructor-courses Subsequently they've put them in but I've noticed the H1 tag has a break in it where 'ski' is on a separate line to 'instructor courses' Is this an issue that need to be addressed? Also I can't look up the page in the Moz on-page grader - any ideas why? Many thanks! Richard

Same H1 tag in header across entire site
Should I have the same H1 tag in my header through out my entire site? Or is this considered to be self canalization for my main keywords. For example right now I have an H1 tag with my main targeted keywords on every page on my site, even if the pages content doesn't necessarily match the keywords in the H1 tag.
