I am providing 4 services on my website so do i create seperate page for all services? or one common page for all 4 services? what type of name should i create for profile and business page?

Thank you !

You need to have a personal profile in order to create a business page. Business pages are managed by profiles. For example, my personal profile as myself is a manager of Moz's page, and when I post on Moz's page or answer comments on Moz's page, it defaults to me responding as Moz.

Hi Erica,
Thanks a lot for great answer and great tool, just last query as you said facebook only wants businesses to have business pages that means i can directly create business page and no need to create profile?
I mean to create any business page, we have to create account with profile? ??Confused??? Can u please guide me?
Thanks in advance!

You only want one page for your business, not four for each service. Businesses that have multiple pages are ones with multiple locations. Facebook only wants businesses to have business pages, and they will shut down businesses that create user profiles instead.
As far as tools that you can analyze what your competitors are doing on Facebook, I recommend Rival IQ. I use this for my work at Moz, and it's fabulous.

Thanks Monica,
First of all i don't want to hack anyone else page. I am asking for my business page. Like i have abc.com website of my company and i am providing 4 services i.e. seo, web development, web design, 3d design so i want to know, should i create profile page of facebook on my name? and for all four service i should create account with my company name?
I was asking in my above statement that if i want to know any business have more than one page so it is possible to check? ...I don't want to hack but want to analysis...that's it
Thanks!

Do you have a personal Facebook page? You can look up any businesses as long as you are logged in. Just do a search for their name.
You can't hack someone else's page, but you can look at it from a fan's perspective. You will see their likes, reviews, posts and photos.
I recommend creating only one FB page for your business. There is a description that can be extremely lengthy and you can describe all of your services. You don't want to have duplicate pages for the same business, it reflects negatively on your credibility. The name of your page should be the name of your company.

ROS Outbound Social Links vs Connect Page with Social Feed?
A client wants to include social media icons in their footer. Instead of linking to facebook, Google+, etc they would like to link to a page with social feeds from their networks. Are there any SEO implications to doing this?

Facebook Like Button vs Like Box
We want to add the Facebook Like and Google Plus One functionality to our website but had a question. Is it better for SEO and usability to use a global Facebook Like Button for people to Like the home page of our website or a Facebook Like Box to Like our Facebook page from our website? I know that we can specify the URL in the Like Button but I wanted to get some feedback. Thanks!

Facebook and SEO
Hello, recently we've noticed my companies Facebook page (www.facebook.com/dishcostsless) is not being crawled by Google. When you type in DISH Costs Less Facebook it does not show up, even when you type in the exact URL there are no search results. We used screaming frog to check out the back end of the page and there are no meta tags like there are on most FB pages. Also we noticed there were two re-directs; one from the http page to the https page, and the other directed the https page to the http page creating one giant cycle. We think this has something to do with the problem but not sure. Is there anyone who has had a similar issue, and how did you fix it? We'd love to be assured that the search engines are tracking our interactions on Facebook for SEO purposes.

Is it possible to get high page ranking with no social media activity?
I'm curious to know how much social media effects the chances of being more highly ranked on Google. I appreciate it's important to 'be seen' by Google, but if articles/newsletters are being written, does it really matter if a business isn't using Twitter or Facebook, etc?

Best Practices for apps.facebook.com pages
A client of ours has experienced a large drop in traffic (per GA) from apps.facebook.com referral source in the last 30 days. After a lot of searching, its apparent that there is not a lot of chatter on this topic. So this is a twofold topic..... 1. has anyone observed a drop in apps.facebook.com referrals lately as well? 2. does anyone have any best practices learning on optimizing these pages? Facebook guidance and content in general on the topic is virtually not existent. Google is still clearly indexing the url structure so its visible in search at least. https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient=psy-ab&q=%22apps.facebook.com

How do website owners gain from facebook scams like this?
I've noticed two things that are going wild on Facebook this week: http://timhortonsgiveaway.me/ and http://promoforipads.net/ In the first scenario, you supposedly just click share and they'll send you a $25 Tim Horton's gift card. (For those who don't know Tim's it is a very popular coffee shop in Canada). There's no way this is happening...they claim to have something like 5000 cards to give away. In the second one they're apparently giving away 1000 ipods. Yeah...OK. So, they're obviously scams that are just trying to get a few zillion facebook shares. But why?
