Possible Crawling Problem with Screaming Frog and Moz Crawlers
-
So I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is a problem or not.
As of about two weeks ago the Moz crawler has only been able to see www.mysite.com, and none of the links, content, title, ect associated with the page. Essentially the report has one line, what should be the homepage, but it's not able to pull any information from the page but does show a 200 http status code. The report shows nothing blocked by robots or any errors.
When I use screaming frog to crawl the site about 75% of the time it just reports one line www.mysite.com with a 200 status code, but again the crawler is not able to actually see the html. The other 25% of the time it works perfectly fine, crawls all pages and sees all meta info and content.
There are no errors in Google WMT and everything looks ok there. We have seen a traffic drop the last two weeks but I don't know if this is the reason for it.
I can't publicly post the page but if someone has an idea of what might be going on I'd be happy to PM them.
Thanks

Thank you for the response.
I've ran two MOZ crawl reports today, one with mysite.com and one www.mysite.com. Both returned 1 result for mysite.com and www.mysite.com respectively, with a 200 status code, but no meta data. I know that I've successfully crawled www.mysite.com about a month ago with no problems. I have made small changes here and there but nothing is jumping out at me as wrong.
Screaming Frog is currently crawling my site successfully about 1/10 tries. The successful tries it sees 163 Total URL Encountered (its a small site) and the other 9/10 times it shows exactly 1 URL (the one i entered) and no meta data. There doesn't seem to be any pattern when it successfully crawls and when it doesn't make it past the first page.
Google WMT is currently showing No Data Available for both internal links and links to your site which is a little concerning. Everything else in WMT looks ok.

Two possible simple key-in items to consider: make sure the URL is inputted w/ the full url (not just mysite.com) and/or ensure to click any options for including root or sub-domains so its not just looking at a single page.

If you PM me the domain I can take a look myself.
Does the robots.txt have anything funny in there?

Unsolved How to concat moz.com
Hello,
Moz Pro | | GrzegorzZ
I wanted to contact moz.com. I started my 30 day trial to test service.
After 2-3 days totally forgot about it. I remembered about moz.com when i received invoice saying they're gonna charge me.
I immediately wrote email to them that I do not want this service. I forgot and only put credit card data because i was required to. And would like a refund since it was 2-3 hours after bill. Unfortunately sending messages via their contact form is not an option. There is no confirmation on my email they received message nor return message from them.0 -

Summarize your question. Is it possible to request another unscheduled crawl?
We have just sorted a couple of issues on the website which threw the crawl into spasm and gave us hundreds of hugely long URLs. We are pretty sure that we have corrected this and do not want to wait another week to check what SEOMOZ comes up with. Is there anyway that we can request a special crawl of the website so that we can hopefully just be left any legitimate remaining issues?

How to set the crawler or reports to ignore
I have a mobile version of a site with a URL string that disables the mobile view on smartphones (view full site), string is like this example.com/page-name.html?mobile=off I need the seomoz pro reports or crawler to ignore it because the crawler visits both versions of the site then reports them as duplicate content. Is there a setting page I haven't visited yet that will set this?

Not all pages are being crawled
I am set up on the PRO plan, I was under the impression that it would crawl up to 10,000 pages. My site has just over 200 pages, but whenever I am crawled it only crawls 121 pages. Is this normal? It's hard to know how reliable my data is because a significant amount of pages are missing.

Crawl Diagnostics Summary
Sorry if I am not asking in the right place. On Crawl Diagnostics Summary it says this right..?? : "To get you started quickly Roger is crawling up to 250 pages on your site. You should see these results within two hours. The full crawl will complete within 7 days.". so it's passed a day and it still doesn't show nothing. It says "Processing Crawl Data for 358 pages" How much should i wait??

Moz Toolbar Analyzer - Links
On the moz toolbar there is an Analyze tool. The third tab is for viewing Page Attributes. That page contains a section called On Page Links. I can see the External Link count, but I need to drill down further to look at these external links. I have viewed a page and don't see the external links this tool is seeing. I have searched the page, the source code, and used other tools on the page. The numbers don't match up. Is there a tool which lists all the external links on a given page?

Scheduling crawls between certain time periods
Hi, today SEOMoz crawled our site and it interfered with an email campaign that we sent out and pretty much brought our site to a crawl (seoMoz even reported numerous 4XX errors). Is there a way to tell the crawler to only allow indexing between certain time periods?
