Are there any tools to give a value STRICTLY for Quantity of Content on your website?
-
I am trying to put a value to all the work I do and want to put a very specific value to the number of pages of unique content I have.
I know everyone says its about quality, and sure it is but quantity is still a factor and looked at.
(Can't argue with if you prefer 100 semi-optimized pages versus 1 optimized page- and is unfair for a tool to rate the website the 1 optimized page higher)
I use a ton of tools but yet to find something that puts a value on quantity of CONTENT ONLY (Please don't respond with PA or DA because that encompasses all the inherit value)

There's no good reason to measure your content purely by quantity, simply because there's no inherent reason to have 10 pages on a site versus 10 million. The "right" amount of content for any particular website will be entirely driven by your business model, you marketplace, and the actions of your audience.
If you're looking for a way to measure the value of each page of content you're producing against your actual revenue and business goals, then to do what you're asking, you need to have a website set up to perfectly track multi-touch attribution across the entire customer lifecycle, and that's a hard task for most business models.
For us mortals, GA is the simplest way to get closer to this. By assigning e-commerce revenue or goal values, GA will assign values to pages, allowing you to see the total sum value of that page. The content groups features of GA will allow you to analyze content in bucketed groups as well, rather than page by page. Using GA is limited by the goals you are tracking - if you don't attach a dollar value to a newsletter signup, then GA will never assign more value to a page that generates tons of newsletter signups.
Marketing automation/analytics tools like Hubspot, Mixpanel, and Kissmetrics have similar features allowing you to track the value of a piece of content.
So, setting up the right analytics environment is the best way to justify your efforts on a per page basis.

I assume you are talking about quantity as in say the number of articles vs the length of each article. If so you can track one metric that may be beneficial in this case, it is the inner linking between the articles the more articles you have the more interlinking that can be accomplished and this if done correctly helps.
This is true for the length of article, (assuming stellar content here), the longer the article the more room for quality inner linking and external linking, more room for awesome headlines and images that grab the attention of those that skim the article.
With this in mind you can see why a longer article and more of them can make sense!
Now for tools if you are into checking how much articles you have vs your competitor, you can use Screaming Frog or equivalents to scan the site and count the number of articles, and compare that to yours, as an example of course much more can be done to scrape and count the number of inner links, thin content etc.
Here is more of what can be done with screaming frog
Hope this helps!

I don't think you can get a tool that accurate, as the user will determine how good the content really is. I think the moz scores a good indication.
How would you measure it? You could have a criteria to measure against i.e
- Time spent on page
- Number of high quality reference
- Number of social shares
- Number of new v returning vistors
- Bounce rate etc...
I think if I am not mistaken this is what the PA is based on. Be interesting what a Moz staff member can say on this?

Duplicate Content
Hello, I'm managing a site which shows as having duplicate page issues (in the crawl analyser) for 3 pages. Basically the site is offering 3 different options of the same product so depending on which size you select, you are directed to the relevant page. These 3 pages are basically identical apart from a slight difference in copy regarding the size (small, medium, large) Is this likely to be a big issue regarding SEO, and what would the moz community suggest re this? Thank you!

'Duplicate Page Content' for dissimilar pages
I'm using Moz's Crawl Diagnostics to try and clean up some SEO priorities for our website (http://www.craftcompany.co.uk) HOWEVER, virtually all of the pages that are being categorised as duplicate content are not the same, or indeed similar. For instance, these three pages have been deemed duplicated pages; http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/pme-rose-leaf-veined-plunger.html http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/double-faced-satin-ribbon-black-25mm-wide.html http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/double-faced-satin-maroon-10mm-wide-25mt.html Can anyone give me an insight into why this is? Many Thanks! http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/

Are there any free (or paid) tools available online that download Meta Tags for ALL URL's of a website?
Hi, I am looking to run an On-Site audit for a website and I'm wondering if there are any tools available online that take the existing Meta Tags on ALL pages of a website and downloads them to a .CSV or .XLS. Would need Meta Title and Meta Description for all pages at the very least. Any suggestions are appreciated - looking for Free or Paid options. Thanks.

Is there a way to export to csv the report of keyword difficulty tool?
I'm using it to create reportes on multiple keywords and I don't see an export/download button.I see that when one keyword only is searched for, you can export the serp results. I am asking about searching multiple keywords and then exporting them all with their scores.

Strange Website Activity
Hello, I have been building websites for about 4 months now and finally had my first real success with a website. I found a niche that I was able to get on the first page with. This site was fine and then boom it dropped to #17 around the time of the recent Google changes. So I just thought it was that, I decided to add it as a campaign on here. This is when I noticed that the pages were not being crawled. So being new at all of this, I researched that. Of course, the main things were is the privacy and robots.txt. It is running on wordpress and I know not to set the blog to private, but I wasn't familiar with how to edit the robots.txt. I found a good plugin that easily allowed me to set the text to allow all bots. It seemed to be set to the normal wordpress settings before, and I never had a problem with any of my websites not being crawled. Anyway, once I just set it to allow all bots on ALL of my website, the pages started being crawled again. My traffic went back up and I was on the first page all day yesterday. Today, so far big drop off. So, I deleted the campaign and set up a new one. Sure enough no pages crawled yet. I made some security changes using Bulletproof Security and another plugin to see if that effects it. Nothing yet. I am just really confused as to what is going on, so if any of you have any ideas that would be great. It is a simple site, and I made some changes like theme when I was trying to figure out why the pages weren't being crawled. So it is not the most beautiful design right now. Also, I try my best to put up well-written useful content, so I don't think that is the issue for the rankings drops. I don't have many if any actual backlinks yet because of the newness of my site, could be the reason for it acting strange BUT none of that explains the pages not being crawled at the same time my site drops????? Sorry so long but had to explain it all! Thanks in advance to anyone who has anything to say about this situation! Edit: I should clarify, I put the the security plugins on yesterday while I was on the first page and have deleted them to see if that allows the pages to be crawled. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
