Export Product from Magento
-
Hi,
I want to export the complete product feed from our Magento website to Google shopping. How can I do this? as far as I know many of the extensions have many problems... could you give me some advise please?
Many Thanks
-
HI,
There are quite a few professional extensions that should do this with minimal fuss (for example here and here). I haven't tried them so am not recommending any specific extension but if the extension is made by a certified magento partner you shouldn't have too many problems. You can also code it yourself - but this would require a developer with good knowledge of magento to implement.

How do you guys deal with product description and titles in PLA for different variation products?
Hello guys!
Paid Search Marketing | | Sorin_T
I have to say that I have been browsing, reading, learning and so on Moz for a long time now, and when I had a question to ask I was scared of askings so I don't look stupid but since I've asked my first question a few weeks ago and got a really helpful answer that helped me to no longer think like that. Therefore here is my question: What is the best way of writing product description and titles on Google PLA for product variation? Let's say you have a rope for example which come in different diameter and colour. Right... The title yes it should include variation such as Brand Size Model Colour Other Attributes on each individual product title but the question is .. does to description has to be different for each product so that you also include the attributes for the given product variation? I hope someone out there will understand my question and come up with a good answer. Thank you!0 -
I am a seller on Amazon and am looking for an agency/consultant to help optimize my products
Anyone do this kind of work or know anyone who does? Looking to act quickly. Our product is selling well and the team wants to put more money behind it and I'm not sure if that's necessary or if we just need to optimize our organic listing. Trying to understand scale and how Amazon differs from Adwords

Google Product Ads
Hi,
Paid Search Marketing | | ChrisHolgate
I was wondering if I could ask is perhaps someone could give me some clarification as to how the amount we bid on Google Product Ads reflects the product positioning on Google Shopping? We have a Google Product Data Feed which is then linked up to our Adwords account so that we can determine a PPC bid amount. In instances like this it doesn't seem to make sense that one person may be paying 10ppc and another 20ppc when the buyers criteria for sorting merchants was purely down to the price. Since the buyer has the option to sort their products in price from minimum to maximum the sort order cannot be manipulated by Google based on the amount the merchant was paying. As such, how is determining a cost per click figure relevant when the customer is searching by base price low > high on Google Shopping? Surely I should just set the limit to £0.01 and rely on the customer determining the sort order (which ultimately will lead to a higher conversion rate) than allowing Google to skew the results based on bidding 20-30 times this amount? I should state that I'm in the UK. I do realise that a high PPC amount will increase our chance of exposure on standard search pages but my question does relate solely to results listed on Google Shopping. Thanks for your help! Hire Products on Google Shopping
Has anyone got any experience with advertising products for hire rather than for sale on Google Shopping? Is it allowed? How does it perform?

Which of my products should I advertise for first using Adwords?
Serious Adwords noob here. I have been reading a great deal in preparation for my first Adwords campaign. Strangely enough, I have not been able to find information that might help me determine which of my 180+ products I should begin with and use in my first campaign. I imagine that there is some sort of general criterion like the highest selling item, lowest, one meeting certain criterion in the popularity of it's keywords/difficulty, one with least competition or, most likely, something that I haven't even thought of. Does anyone have any suggestions or a link to something I might be able to read to solve this? Thanks for your help!

Product listing Ads and the product descriptions. How much of a factor is this in visibility?
I've scoured the web trying to find some proof of whether the product listing text uploaded to GMC is in fact a factor in showing up or whether its just the title that matters. Basically, does anyone know if the product descriptions play a large factor in showing up or is it just the landing page text and the title? I also wonder just how much text is worth putting there, it seems there is a 500 character limit.

Isn't a product page a Landing Page?
Before starting a new ppc campaign, I am working on making my site landing pages Relevant. I see some ppc experts suggest separate, noindex, landing pages. But aren't my dynamically generated product pages landing pages- They have a call to action "add to basket" button, a big photo, and orignal detailed conent- prodct description - below all that. Sometimes I would like to advertise we have a broad selection of a Vendor's line- so then my natural landing page is a categegory page with thumbnail photos and the call to action is clicking the photo or product name to go to the specific product page. Can an experienced adwords person help me understand this better? Do I really want/need to create seperate ppc landing pages? What would the difference be? Thanks as ever Handcrafter
