How can you tell if you were hit by the Pay Day Loan update in 2013?

Hi All,
I have a feeling that our site was hit by the Pay Day Loan update in 2013.
We have a website offering serviced apartments - I have seen lots of talk in forums about porn, apartment rentals and finances being among the websites hit by this update.
Can anyone offer any advice on whether this is the case and what action might be needed in order to get this penalty taken off our site?

Thanks for the reply!
We did see a significant drop in organic traffic around the time the update went live.
We have lost traffic for generic phrases like "apartments in london" and "london apartments".
We haven't got a manual penalty.

Hi,
Can you tell us why you think you were hit by that specific update? Did you see a drop in organic traffic from Google around the date the update went live? If you use GA you can overlay your traffic using Barracuda's Panguin Tool which will show you when your traffic dropped and how it coincides with Google's algorithm changes.
Are there any particular search terms you've lost ranking for?
I've taken a very quick look at your back link profile and it looks okay, just a few spammyish looking links like the highly optimised one here.
Also, have you checked GWT to see if you have a manual penalty?
There looks to be a few on-site issues (multiple H1 tags etc) but nothing that would point towards a penalty. If you could get back to us on the points above, we can take a closer look for you.

Is this okay with google if i can access my sub categories from two different path?
My website is url is abcd.com. One of my category url is abcd.com/mobile.aspx. Which contains 5 sub categories :- samung Mobile 2) Nokia Mobile 3) Sony Mobile 4) HTC Mobile 5) Blackberry Mobile Now if i go in to HTC Mobile sub categories i.e. abcd.com/htcmobile.aspx here i will see all the product related to HTC Mobile. But at below of all product i will find all sub categories that is samsung mobile, nokia mobile, sony mobile and blackberry mobile. So i want to task is this okay? How can I get back the deleted campaign?
I know that SEOmoz says: "if deleted, you will not be able to get it back. So be careful!" from here: http://www.seomoz.org/help/campaign-settings, but we really need it back, and it's urgent! How can we fix duplicate title tags like these being reported in GWT?

We have over 200 pages on our site being flagged by GWT as having
duplicate title tags. The majority of them look similar to this: Title: <a>JBL EON MusicMix 16 | Mixer | CCI Solutions</a> GWT is reporting these URLs to have all the same title:
/StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod/StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod?Origin=Category/StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod?Origin=Footer/StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod?Origin=Header/StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod?origin=../StoreFront/product/R-JBL-MUSICMIX.prod?origin=GoogleBase
These are all the same page. There was a time when we used these origin codes, but we stopped using them over a year ago. We also added canonical tags to every page to prevent us from having duplicate content issues. However, these origin codes are
still showing up in GWT. Is there anything we can do to fix this problem. Do we have a technical issue with our site code and the way Google is seeing our dynamic URLs? Any suggestions on how we can fix this problem? The same is true in our report for Meta descriptions. Thanks

Why Can't I Get on Google?
I've employed many of the suggestions of SEOMoz and getting a Grade "A" on a particular keyword. I'm now #4 on Yahoo and Bing. However, my site hasn't cracked the top 50 in Google. Why? I see a similar pattern with other keywords, many on yahoo and bing but only a few of my subpages get #45-48 on Google. Any ideas? http://www.gospelebooks.net

Can double content be a reason to not have PR?
In a bigger project are several domains that show the same content like the main-site (there is a reason to have it like that). Now those "double-content domains" are indexed and ranking in Google. But now I see that all those double-content domains have no pagerank visible, despite they do all have their unique own backlinks. Do you know why those domains don't show Pagerank? Can it really have something to do with the double-content situation?

What is the max of back links per day?
Hi, I have one existing web site, I am building the backlinks by myself and also hire some people to do it for me in blog, forum, bookmarks, articles etc. Questions: 1. what is the max number of backlinks per day which will not trigger google to put my site into the sandbox? I heard some people said 100, some people said 30, and some people said it does not matter if this is not a brand new site. 2. I have 5-6 pages which I want to promote, does the Max number of backlinks apply to the whole site or to the particular page? I am also building a brand new site, is the restriction more tighten for the a brand new site?
