Rich snippets not appearing in SERP
-
We implemented rich snippets for People listings about 2 months ago, and they haven't shown up in SERPs yet.
I followed all of the advice listed here, and everything seems to be working and being crawled correctly. I'm not sure what else to try at this point.
Here is an example page that should be showing snippets: http://www.travelleaders.com/travel_agent/Agent-Details.aspx?id=6982
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A part from the valid hints that have been already mentioned by others, please note google is very picky when it comes to display microdata and it shows them or ignore them depending on the search query too.
So for example if you search for "John Doe" it should show it, but if you expect to see that when searching for "Best Lawyer in Nevada", you are going to be disillusioned.

True, that page is higher quality. If you're not set on that being the reason, then I suggest restructuring the 'People' content to be as simple as possible. Remove any unnecessary nesting, get the microdata as short, simple, and flat as possible. Then, give it some more time and see if that makes the SERP update. If so, then you know you have some kind of code structuring issue.

Thanks for the response.
Yeah, I've checked with webmastertools, and it recognizes all the schema with no errors.
I haven't used this second tool, but you're right, it does find some errors. I will definitely look into these, thanks so much!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm curious about the page quality issue. There are other pages where the quality is presumably higher (example) but the snippets are not showing up for any agent I have tried.
And yeah, I know that they're not showing pictures anymore, but thanks for pointing that out.

Are you only looking to have the person's job title available via snippet? I hope you're not looking to have the person's photo show up in the SERPs, I believe that is still a discontinued feature.
The People icrodata you've implemented appears to be correct. You could try going with microformats instead of microdata and see if that helps, https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/146897. Google's example used microformats, so maybe they favor that schema.
However, I'm more inclined that they've deemed the page quality too low and not doing much to update the SERP. I would try adding content to the agent's page, maybe highlight content pieces they are proud off, skills they possess, previous travels they have put together, locations they specialize in, testimonials from customers of the agent, and anything creative you can think of - then see if that helps it get updated in the SERPs.

Hi,
Did you check the page in your webmastertools - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/structured-data?hl=en&siteUrl=http://www.travelleaders.com/travel_agent/Agent-Details.aspx?id=6982 ?
When I checked the page with another tool there seem to be some syntax errors: https://webmaster.yandex.com/microtest.xml

Dirk

How can another country domain appear in a page title?
I have run into something i have never seen before. A friend has a website with two country domains, so page titles for the homepages of both websites look like this: Rent your care here | carrentals.de Rent your car here | carrentals.co.uk The thing is, both are perfectly well set-up in Yoast. Yet when googling, the different URL's both appear like this: Rent your car here | carrentals.co.uk How could this happen?

I have never seen this in Google SERPs before?
What is this that I am seeing in the Google SERPs? It's a bank of 3 separate articles from one site, but they are grouped together like an organic listing. Checkout the link to see what I'm talking about http://imgur.com/xbUk1NG

Google shows date in the SERPS for the homepage
Hi SEO's we've build a site and our now trying to rank it but it won't go up despite of regular new unique content and a higher DA than most competitors. All tools like MOZ en Yoast SEO show green lights so we're kinda out of ideas right now. Till we saw the date in the SERPS for the meta description. This gives us the idea that Google sees it as a post and not as a page which might explain the low ranking. However there are no technical causes we can think off for Google to show the date. Any ideas on this matter? Could it be that Yoast SEO is causing this even although we tell it not to show dates? Love to hear from you!

Google Not Displaying Rich Snippets
We implemented rich snippets for products some time ago. When viewing our site through a site:xxxx.com on Google, they don't show for every product, despite the fact that they should. I've taken some of the URLs that don't show rich snippets in the SERPs, ran them through Google's testing tool, and they display fine. Not sure what's going wrong here. Any thoughts?

Street Address Not Appearing on Business Google+ Page
I run a local business in New York City, a commercial real estate brokerage. My firm has both a web site and Google+ accounts, one Google+ account for me personally and a Google+ account for my business. Under address my Google+ account is showing New York, NY. It is not showing a street address. Similiarly when my business name is entered in the Google search bar, my web site is the first result, but under address (directly to the right of a black dot with a grey circle around it) "New York, NY" with the phone number beneath it appears. No sign of my street address. My business is registered under Google Places and we have entered the correct street address. Any ideas on how I can get Google to display our street address? This is obviously very, very detrimental for local SEO. Thanks,

Recent ranking drop followed by strange behavior in SERPS
Recently on the evening of August 5th almost all of the keywords our pages ranked highly for dropped by anywhere from 5 to 8 pages. The only activity during this time was an article that had been picked up by a major news outlet and then was apparently copied onto other sources with links to our domain and article. More puzzling though is rather than simply having the same page show up lower for a keyword, in a number of instances a different page is now shown for the result, often with less or no relevance to the keyword. In some cases, for a single keyword phrase we've seen as many as 10 different pages rotated throughout the day when performing a search. Prior to our rankings falling, we've never seen this behavior.

Is Video Sharing sites is still useful for SERP ?
Well I am not talking about the audience views, i am asking whether it is good for submitting videos to multiple video sites for backlinks and any sharp movements for the keywords. I seen most of the sites are nofollow which is not useful but for the link diversification is that something good ?

How to Get Reviews Displaying in SERP, Like Amazon
Notice how Amazon has the reviews for the Kindle showing up right in the Organic Results; http://www.google.com/search?q=kindle&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Is this a rich snippit example? If you have an ecommerce store and lots of reviews, how do you go about getting the same thing? Is Google just going to let Amazon do this, and other huge brands or is it fair game for everyone?
