Ppc or organic to promote membership site
-
HI,
When promoting a membership site and trying to get members quickly, is it best go to organic or PPC? A person is interested in developing a site targeting the college student/higher education market.Corn

Without a doubt SEO and PPC both can give you the good results but for the membership kind of sites where your focus is to bring users on-board for a period of time is only possible when your overall marketing strategy is sound enough to attract and keep them.
Here content marketing, community engagement practices and social media (Twitter chats, LinkedIn groups, G+ Communities) will play a vital role.
Hope this helps!

Well, PPC is fast. But when the money runs out, so does the traffic. If the site is brand new, some form of paid advertising is going to be necessary to drive appreciable traffic. But don't rule out the social aspect either.

Hi Butler,
Yes, I agree with what John said above.
In Addition to that you also need Social Media Marketing as your target Market in on College student/higher education. For new website like yours you can bring more users by PPC campaign and measuring it properly but for long term SEO will help.

Combination is the answer
Assuming a new site. SEO is the cheapest way long term way online to capture customers. PPC enhances that process and certainly when starting is important on many fronts. You can test customers UX - and drive traffic quickly to the site. SEO takes time, and effort and long term is cheaper and more effective.
I would run strategies for both, and make sure you work hard on both. Hope that assists.

Need to fill out supplier form to pay for Moz Con
First of all, I wish there was an email I could contact for this. I am planning on attending Moz Con next month with my company. However the policy internally is that in order for my company to cover the conference, I need to get someone from Moz to fill out our new supplier form. Is there anyone that can help out with this? Any insight or answers would be much appreciated.

Is It Possible To Use Multiple Promotional Codes for Google AdWords?
I am managing two separate Google AdWords accounts and with one I was able to add 3 different promotional codes so I got $300 of Google AdWords for free. I signed up for Google AdWords for another business with a separate login e-mail address. I used the code that I was able to generate and a few days later I recieved an additional code in the mail. I tried to use this code and it said I was only able to use one promotional code per account. Does anyone know why Google has this inconsistency? Was I just lucky the first time or is it possible to use multiple vouchers? Thanks

How to make partnerships with quality sites
I have a small group of insurance related blogs and sites (20). I have been creating useful articles and linked them to my main site. ex. (multiplecarinsurance.net, decisivewebsites.com). I have been sending email to sites that i linked, but I'm never sure if the emails is getting to the right person (webmaster vs sales). And some other time I cant even get and email address. Is there better place to find partners?. I was thinking that maybe there is an internet marketing club, where people openly create and develop partnerships.
