Infinite Scroll and SEO - Is it enough to only link to the previous and next page in the pagination?

Hi all,
We are implementing an eCommerce site where the results pages of the products will be visibile on one page (always loading new products when you scroll down the page).
Now, I have read that the Google spiders cannot "load" new products scrolling down the page, hence the spider only sees the first few products of the results page.
Our developer wants to implement a system where a users sees the first products on
Then scrolling down, he will see new products with the URL changing to example.com/page/2 and so on.
Is it enough that we add a pagination link that goes from example.com/products to example.com/page/2
Then another link that goes from example.com/page/2 to example.com/page/3 and so on, so the Google spider can make his way through all the pages? Or is that too much deep linking and the spider wouldn't even crawl all the results pages?
Any recommendations how to go about this?

How many scrolling pages are you suggesting?
I would start by having a read of this resource on infinite scrolling over at Google and then this example from John Mueller.
What you are suggesting with pagination makes sense and here is what Google say about it:
Infinite scroll page is made “search-friendly” when converted to a paginated series -- each component page has a similar <title>with rel=next/prev values declared in the <head>.</em></strong></p> <p>I hope this helps,</p> <p>-Andy</p></title>

Log-in page ranking but not homepage
Our homepage is outranked by log-in page for "primary keyword" in Google search results; for which actually our homepage was optimised. I have gone through the other answers for the same question here. But I couldn't find them related with our website. We are not over optimised. Toggle Tabs on pages - How to present information to users
Hi all, I can use some help with SEO/UX related question I have got. I have a client who has some toggel tabs on its website. Is there a way to display the relevant information from these toggle tabs when a user lands on the page instead of having the same toggle tab show for whenever a user reaches the page? What I am trying to understand is that if a user searched for "vitamin C benefit" (lets say) in Google and then clicks on the link, the user is presented with the "benefits" tab on the page instead of "side effects" tab. Infinite Scroll and URL Changing
Hi, So my website is having an issue indexing. Much like other sports sites like ESPN or MLB or a variety of others my site changes the URL as you go down the page. So if you go on a news article and continue scrolling you'll go to another news article. I believe that this is creating errors in Search Console with the article being given an error of being "too long". I don't know how to keep this infinite scroll and url changing which increases my pageviews and eliminate the errors. Can someone help?

WIX? is it any good for SEO
Hi people. I have just built my website www.bellagiolimousines.com.au using WIX. I am in the process of optimising for SEO, and after reading a couple of older posts i.e 2012; I read that some SEO consultants do not like WIX. However with their recent upgrades, I was hoping if anyone else has had any recent experience with WIX? I have spent a considerable amount of time building this site, and I don't want to waste anymore time in optimising it, if I am not going to receive a top 3 organic SERP.
