We find with the vast majority of our client's websites it takes a little while for Google to notice you. Give it a bit of time and I'm sure you'll start seeing your brand name up there. And as pointed out above, get some high quality links pointing at your sites and you'll start to see some improvements.

Thanks for the response. I understand the importance of link building and such but is it normal for my site to not rank _at all _for when searching for it? I've checked every single search result page and couldn't find any pages to my site.
I guess my question is: is Google 'hiding' my site until I get more authority?
Thanks again for the help.

Congratulations on launching your new website! You currently don't really have any links pointing to http://www.indigolune.com, which is going to make it hard for Google to consider your site important relative to other sites on the web that have your keywords in the title. You need to find a way to get websites to link to yours in order to increase your authority. Social shares are nice, but they alone will not do the trick.
Here is Moz's basic primer on links and link building, but I think a simple start would be with a single press release announcing the launch of your new business. This won't get you a ton of links, and they will be pretty low quality, but they will be a start. Also, consider reaching out to friends, family, coworkers, business partners, associates, etc. to see if they would be willing to write a blog post about you launching your new website. Even just a couple of participants may be sufficient to get you ranking for your brand.
Good luck!

Client suffered a malware attack. Removed links not being crawled by Google!
Hi all, My client suffered a malware attack a few weeks ago where an external site somehow created 700 plus links on my clients site with their content. I removed all of the content and redirected the pages to the home page. I then created a new temporary xml sitemap with those 700 links and submitted the sitemap to Google 9 days ago. Google has crawled the sitemap a few times but not the individual links. When I click on the crawl report for the sitemap in GSC, I see that the individual links still have the last crawled date from before they were removed. So in Googles eyes, that old malicioud content still exists. What do I do to ensure Google knows the contnt is gone and redirected? Thanks!

General Question: Linking Root Domains 0
Hi, we have several subpages with PA 1. We try to figure out why. The link metrics show 0 Linking root domains, but shouldnt there be at least the own domain like 1 linking root domain or are we getting it already wrong here? The subpages have following link metrics: 0 External followed Links. 8416 subdomain and 8421 Root Domain, Linking Root Domains 0, 299 Subdomain, 302 Root Domain (From Mozbar). The pages seem to be crawled. We are suspecting techincal reasons. What would be the impact of the linking root domain to the PA 1? Thank you in advance

Sitemap question
Hello, In your opinion what is better for a root domain and micro-sites using sub-domains?, to have a single sitemap for the root domain including all links to the sub-domains or to have a separate sitemap for each sub-domain? Thanks Arnold

Is there software that makes it easier to reach out to websites and webmaster to have toxic links removed?
I'm currently trying to disavow toxic links that I have found on my site, that our previous SEO company created. Google requires that we reach out to the individual websites and try to have them removed. Does anyone know of software that makes this process automated or easer? I'm currently doing it manually, uhg! Also, is there software that can help you find toxic links? I'm currently also doing that manually, uhg! Thanks.

Google Enterprise Search Questions
Hi Everybody, A client has asked me to take a look at Google Enterprise Search for them. It has been a few years since I last fooled around with implementing a Google search box on a website, and that was the free version which included off-site results in the results. This appears to be the main page describing the paid product: http://www.google.com/enterprise/search/ I have three questions: The search testing function on the above page doesn't seem to be working. I'm typing in a URL and search term, as prompted, and the page is simply refreshing. It never provides me an example set of results. Is it working for you? This client has a moderately large e-commerce site (about 200 products). Have you implemented Google enterprise search on such a site and are you happy with its performance? The goal here is to let users search for a topic and be returned both product and informational pages. How well does this tool do this? Am I going to need to know any special types of coding (beyond html/css) to implement this? If so, what are they? If you have experience with this product, I would surely appreciate your feedback. Thank you!

Redirecting a questionable domain to a trusted domain
I have a question!
Technical SEO | | FDFPres
We have 2 domains operating within the same retail sector. One of them is for our bricks and mortar business and the other is a new brand we launched as a nationwide e-retailer.  We aggressively built links for the new one and achieved some very good search positioning, where we remained for about 4 months until the google updates of the first half of this year started biting. The domain never received a warning from google or anything, but the links have clearly been devalued to a point where the domain is now virtually buried for the most competitive terms. However, the domain does still get around 100-200 visitors per day, and has a DA of 38. We're thinking about a reshuffle that would involve putting the products in to our brick and mortar business website, and redirecting the brand domain to the bricks and mortar domain. Thank you for reading this far! the question is then, is there a danger of the bricks and mortar domain being tarnished by this? as i said the brand domain hasn't had any notices of penalty from google but it has definitely been hit by updates.0 -

Removing inbound Spam Links
Hello, Last February one of my clients websites was delisted. It turns out that some time ago that had attempted to launch a social network along time lines of ning. The project had fallen apart of the was still up. At some point spammers found it and started using it as part of a link farm. Once it was discovered, the subdomain it was posted on was removed and the website returned to search within 2 weeks. Last week, the website disappeared again OSE shows that in the last 2 months the website has got 2000 (There are about 16,000 total spam links) additional spam links now pointing and the root domain. On top of that, Google Webmaster Tools is reporting about 15,000 404 errors. I have blocked Google from crawling the path where the path were the spam pages used to be. If there a way to block the 1000s of inbound spam links?
