Moz Insights are raising alarms --Are they useful?

Hi, Moz is alerting us about URLs being too long, titles being too long, and duplicate content. These are mostly for pages with categories of content, or the author bio pages --pages that are included by default with the template we're using in HubSpot. So that there isn't a quick way to make these changes, and anyway the pages are low-value.So my question is, how much are these issues impacting our SEO and domain authority?If these are pages no one visits (like the category and author pages) is there any reason this would be harming our SEO efforts?Thanks!

New to Moz, need some probably basic answers about Keywords, Linking, Competitors and General SEO

Hi, So I have quite a lot of data colelcted about my site now, regarding keyword research, page crawling and competitor research ect. But I find myself second guessing myself about what I have done and what to do next. I have done basic research for as many relevant keywords I could think of to my site, including branded and non branded terms. If the main competitive keywords for my niche are very competitive, shall I start doing more research for long tail keywords and only try to rank for them? Does is matter how many keywords I am doing research for? Does is matter how many keywords I try to optimise for each webpage? Are the amount of branded keywords I am researching skewing my results? As they are all ranked #1, but nearly all of the non branded keywords are much further down the list... Once I have decided what keywords are worth trying to ranking for for each page, are the techniques to actually rank more highly for them - Title, H1 Tag, Description, Meta Data, Fresh Content and using the keywords on the page? Or are there more techniques I haven't heard of? Under Keyword Rankings - I noticded that some of my keywords are directing to specific pages, like "Cavity Waxes" is directing to the URL ending in .com/cavity-waxes - How do you assign the keywords im researching to specific URLs? - Or does Moz do it automatically? As most of my keywords seem to be unassigned to any URL, is that because they are not ranking highly enough? How do I best use the data collected through Moz? Good practices? Techniques? Tips and Tricks? What is the best practice for finding potential link partners and asking them for mutual linking? Techniques for finding partners that are likely to link with us, but still provides link juice. I must apologise for this long-winded set of questions, but these are troubling me! Any help would be greatly appreciated, Kind regards, Max Johnson

See below and pls let us know what we have to do solve this : | | Joel Day (Moz Help) Mar 07 05:03 PM Hey Tracy, It looks like there's a redirect loop on your site. greatwesternflooring.com redirects to www.greatwesternflooring.com/ which in turn 302 redirects back into itself. You'll likely need to fix the redirect before you can continue configuring the campaign. 🙂 Thanks!

Looking to pull a report from MOZ with global search volume

I'm in need of a monthly report on campaign keywords with rank AND global search volume (not "just" traffic.) Is this doable from MOZ? More generally, what does monthly SEO reporting to the C-Suite look like for most SEO's? Would be a good "#WhiteboardFriday" topic. We are a mid sized ecommerce retailer.

Dear MOZ TEAM - WHY, when I have 2990 moz points, and my profile shows guru, does my profile banner in the Q&A itself now say ASPIRANT? Such a cruel world this has become ! I know I've wanted all along to have you come up with any title other than "guru" because that word is so dreaded in our world. Yet seriously - aspirant? Looking For URL Anchor Text Metrics Definitions

Running some keyword difficulty reports that are showing some interesting data around URL Anchor Text Metrics. But ti fully understand them, I need some definitions, which I cannot find anyone. So can someone point me to definitions of these terms: Exact Anchor Text Links % Links w/ Exact Anchor Text Linking Root Domains w/ Exact Anchor Text % Linking Root Domains w/ Exact Anchor Text Partial Anchor Text Links % Links w/ Partial Anchor Text Partial Anchor Text Root Doms. % Linking Root Domains w/ Partial Anchor Text Also, if say Exact Anchor Text Links is bolded purple, that means that URL has more Exact Anchor Text Links than any other URL in the report. Why does SEO moz show so many more duplicate page titles than webmaster

My SEO moz duplicate page titles are more than double the webmaster duplicate page titles. Plus, some of the items appearing in SEO moz are not really duplicates. Anyone else seeing this?
