Yes - there are plenty of people experiencing the same thing (just browse through the questions of the last couple of days).

Domains and sub domains - newbie

Hi Recently set up my SEOM MOZ account so any help would be great! On the competitive domain analysis page the sub domain metrics appear as good (if not better) then the domain.The Moz rank and trust are better on the sub domain. I know the website copy is appearing on both non-www and also www (which I assume is being referred to as the subdomain) on the competitor domain analysis page). Should I now 301 the WWW site to the non-www.... which will then concentrate the SEO and SEOMoz then will only have the root domain metrics appearing? Many thanks for your help in advance!

How can authority of the page be higher then authority of the domain?

In the opensite explorer most of the links that I see have a higher domain authority and lower page authority which makes sense to me because I thought that domain authority is an aggregate of its pages authority. But apperently I was wrong because sometimes I see that the page authority is greater then its domain? How could that be?

What tools/software provide the most comprehensive list of backlinks to your domain?

We're currently looking for a product that has the capability of providing a comprehensive list of backlinks pointing to our domain, which currently has 400+ URLs. We've tried SEOMoz Pro, Google Webmaster Tools, and Majestic SEO. Does anyone have any recommendations or tips on getting the best report of backlinks?

Why is Followed Linking Root Domains higher than External Followed Links?

Surely there must be at least one external link for each linking root domain? Some results for smaller sites give a higher number of domains linking in than incoming links - e.g. www.forbesandsawyer.co.uk Under Subdomain metrics: External Followed Links - 1 Followed Linking Root Domains - 2 Surely 2 root domains would mean AT LEAST 2 external followed links? Has SEOMoz Domain Authority calc been updated recently

As ever, my apologies if this question's been asked before -- I searched for it, and didn't find it. But, our SEOMoz 'Domain Authority' has recently really jumped (from 67, where it was for many months, to 77). And, our number of Linking Root Domains increased as well, from 1,986 to 3,349) Of course, none of this has translated into Google goodness, but if any of it's true, maybe it WILL in the future? TLD vs Sub Domain in Regards to Domain Authority

I have always been under the impression that top level (or root) domains can hold different domain authority than that of a sub domain. Meaning that sub domain's and TLD can hold different ranks and strength in search engine result pages. Is this a correct or just an assumption? If so when i add a root domain and subdomain into the campaign manager i get back the same link information and domain authority? www.datalogic.com
www.automation.datalogic.com Have I made an incorrect assumption or is this an issue with the SEOMoz campaign manager?

Incorrect domain authority result on SEO tool bar and OSE

The SEO tool bar is returning what I believe to be an incorrect domain authority of 71 and showing 24,356,141 lins from 153,051 domains. The OSE is also returning 71 as domain authority. Anyone know what could be doing this? Thanks. Jason
