Oh, if they're just pages that are part of a template you're using then you can safely get rid of them without having to redirect.
Just make sure you remove all internal links to those deleted pages so you don't end up with 404s.

These links i don't want they were installed in the Wix blog like the yoga one and meditation etc nothing to do with the niche i am in.
so can i delete them in WMT? or still need to redirect them

Hi Steve, Wix is one platform I'm really not too familiar with unfortunately. I've probably spent 20 minutes with it in total!
If you don't want these pages on your site, the best thing to do is 301 it to the most relevant page, provided that redirect makes sense to the user. For example, if it's a page about office chairs, you don't want to be redirecting the user to a page about televisions!
-
Hi Thank you for your answers it is in this case a wix platform

Due to a (now fixed) bug in Q&A, this thread is a duplicate of this thread. Though I ask that future discussion be kept here, there are two responses from Peter Nikolow and Martijn Scheijbeler there that are worth your time.

Thanks for your message
this is the 404 page /?escaped_fragment=Tips-for-a-balanced-lifestyle/csso/1
linked from /#!Tips-for-a-balanced-lifestyle/csso/1 a page I don't want, it is a wix platform and homepage shows up
also linked from /?escaped_fragment=blog/c19s6 page say thankyou for publishing your website so best to delete this page? and lastly linked from sitemap .
is it best to 301 or delete?Steve

It's not possible to give you specific instructions here with so little information but if you click on the errors, you will see some more information in there that will point you in the right direction.
As you can see in the screenshot attached, there's a "Linked From" tab. If you click that tab, you'll see a list of URLs you can find the broken link on, then it's just a case of looking at each of those pages and either fixing or removing the link(s).
Hope that helps!

Google Search Console "Text too small to read" Errors
What are the guidelines / best practices for clearing these errors? Google has some pretty vague documentation on how to handle this sort of error. User behavior metrics in GA are pretty much in line with desktop usage and don't show anything concerning Any input is appreciated! Thanks m3F3uOI

Best strategy to handle over 100,000 404 errors.
I recently been given a site that has over one-hundred thousand 404 error codes listed in Google Webmasters. It is really odd because according to Google Webmasters, the pages that are linking to these 404 pages are also pages that no longer exist (they are 404 pages themselves). These errors were a result of site migration that had occurred. Appreciate any input on how one might go about auditing and repairing large amounts of 404 errors. Thank you.

How to fix duplicate content errors with Go Daddy Site
I have a friend that uses a free GoDaddy template for his business website. I ran his site through Moz Crawl diagnostics, and wow - 395 errors. Mostly duplicate content and duplicate page title I dug further and found the site was doing this: URL: www.businessname.com/page1.php and the duplicate: businessname.com/page1.php Essentially, the duplicate is missing the www. And it does this 2 hundred times. How do I explain to him what is happening?

404 Errors & Redirection
Hi, I'm working with someone who recently had two websites redesigned. The old permalink structure consisted of domain/year/month/date/post-name. Their developer changed the new permalink structure to domain/post-name, but apparently he didn't redirect the old URLs to the new ones so we're finding that links from external sites result in 404 errors (once I remove the date in the URL, the links work fine). Each site has 3-4 years worth of blog posts, so there are quite a few that would need to be changed. I was thinking of using the Redirection plugin - would that be the best way to fix this sitewide on both sites?Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Carolina

301 or a 404
Just had a discussion with a collegue about a page on our own website. We have some cases which are outdated. These pages receive some visitors but they arrive there when they search for the clients brand name, so for us they are irelevant. What's the best way to handle these kind of pages? Is a 301-redirect to the showcase overview the way to go or do we make it a 404 and include the showcase overview in this 404?

Impact of "restricted by robots" crawler error in WT
I have been wondering about this for a while now with regards to several of my sites. I am getting a list of pages that I have blocked in the robots.txt file. If I restrict Google from crawling them, then how can they consider their existence an error? In one case, I have even removed the urls from the index. And do you have any idea of the negative impact associated with these errors. And how do you suggest I remedy the situation. Thanks for the help

Crawl Errors and Duplicate Content
SEOmoz's crawl tool is telling me that I have duplicate content at "www.mydomain.com/pricing" and at "www.mydomain.com/pricing.aspx". Do you think this is just a glitch in the crawl tool (because obviously these two URL's are the same page rather than two separate ones) or do you think this is actually an error I need to worry about? Is so, how do I fix it?
