Internal Pages marked as Spam by Moz
-
Hello,
We use Moz for our website,Open site explorer marks many of the internal pages of the website as spam. Even pages such as careers, privacy policy etc. Please let us know why is this the case ? Also does these pages have impact on overall rankings of the website ?, If yes, What should we do about it ? Please clarify.
Thanks.

Hi there! Out of curiosity, when you say that pages are being marked as spam, do you mean they're being given a spam score? And what is that score?
-
Hi there!
Thanks for reaching out! Spam Score is calculated on a subdomain-specific basis, based on the pages that we've observed within that subdomain. So, every page within a single subdomain would display the same Spam Score. Without knowing more about the specific site you're looking at, it's a little tough to say exactly what the best course of action is.I'd definitely encourage you to check out this video from Rand when considering how to evaluate and apply Spam Score within the context of your site: https://moz.com/blog/understanding-and-applying-mozs-spam-score-metric-whiteboard-friday
I hope this helps! Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Have an awesome day!

Inbound links not found in Moz Pro(though they exist)
These sites have many inbound links but Moz Pro finds no such links. I also used SimilarWebPro Trial to confirm the existing of such links. (these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP) osakado.cc

Spam Score Calculation
Are the guidelines of Open Site Explorer's spam score published anywhere? I'm trying to figure out how a page like http://content.yudu.com/Library/A22uap/PARKINGMagazineMarch/resources/25.htm has a Spam Score of 2/17 -- I expect it to be 17/17 It has no visible content, but if you view the source you see very spammy links. c9kyGF

If for few links the spam score is not discovered, then what is the possibility of risks for those links?
For one of the links, I was checking the domain authority and spam score for which the domain authority was 65 and spam score was not discovered. In such links how do I assume or what are the chances of risks with these links?

How is Moz Page Authority Calculated?
Can anyone refer me to a document that explains the measures that go into the calculation of Moz Page Authority? I'm chiefly interested in what counts and what doesn't -- follow links, no-follow links, internal and external, what (if any) on-site factors, etc.

Duplicated content detected with MOZ crawl with canonical applied
Hi there! I have a slight problem.
Link Explorer | | Eurasmus.com
I have a site with Joomla 3.3 that we recently migrated from 2.5. Joomla, for some reason that I don´t really get, creates hundreds of weird urls for the site like
mydomain.com/en -> joomla creates en/home/149-xxx-xxx/xxxxxx-xxxxxx that links to the first one.
The new version 3.3 knows this bug and applies a rel=canonical to the ones created "artificially", so they should not be identified as duplicated. Sample piece of code: en/home/149-all-en/xxxxxxx-xxxxxx" rel="canonical" / MOZ crawler identifies this as duplicated and like this I have thousands of pages duplicated all with titles, content etc... all the ones created by joomla. Still my site has good SEO results and I can not see any penalties but I am a bit concerned they may come in the future.... Can anyone explain me what is happening? Thank you in advance for your time,0
