Sufficient Words in Content error, despite having more than 300 words
-
My client has just moved to a new website, and I receive "Sufficient Words in Content" error over all website pages , although there are much more than 300 words in those pages. for example:
- https://www.assuta.co.il/category/international_bank_sperm_donor/
I also see warnings for "Exact Keyword Used in Document at Least Once" although there is use of them in the pages..
The question is why can't MOZ crawler see the pages contents?
-
Well, shoot. Apparently, I'm not quite is familiar with UTF-8 characters and that distinction as I thought. Totally my mistake.
The line for our tools falls closer to english character sets. Even seemingly small modifiers like accents can throw off our ability to accurately count or detect matches on pages. So, when it comes to Hebrew characters, we simply don't have a good way to handle it.
-
But the page is utf-8.. Take a look at the source code: view-source:https://www.assuta.co.il/category/assuta_sperm_bank/
Moz did a pretty good job with the old website - before it was changed, but now all my grades are 50
although the site is utf-8 (on a .net framework if that matters)
Can you re-check that please?
I think

Hey Michal!
I'm really sorry you're running into this issue! Unfortunately, it looks to be cropping up because of the non-latin characters being used on the page. Our crawler has a very difficult time interpreting non-UTF-8 characters, and often reports counts and matches poorly when looking at pages comprised of them.I'm terribly sorry for the inconvenience! It's definitely something that we're looking to address down the road, but I'm afraid we don't have the resources to improve that functionality at the moment.

Crawling 4XX errors because of URL accented
Hello guys, I am experiencing crawling errors in Moz because the URLs read by spiders contain accents and special characters, which I know isn't best but yet my client needs to keep it. I know that Moz "uses percent encoding to parse the HTML in the source code, so any line breaks and spaces in your HTML links or sitemap links are converted to %0A and %20, causing a 404 error". Is there any way to avoid these errors happening in the dashboard? Or am I supposed to simply ignore it?

Use a National Brands name in your content
Moz Page Optimizer - content suggestions offer national name brands as KW content to rank higher. I can easily write it into our copy but is it ethical, even with a statement like: "This is not a Fathead product" of "the same as the Fatheads seen on TV" I say no, but curious to get my Mozzers feedback KJr

Duplicate content, despite having correct canonical tags
Hi there We've run a report today which shows we have 157 pages with duplicate content. Out of these 157, 134 have canonical tags so I'm not sure why they're showing up in the reports as being duplicate. Here's an example, this page: https://www.havaianasaustralia.com.au/Accessories?category=beach-towels .....has an canonical of: http://www.havaianasaustralia.com.au/beach-towels-havaianas-accessories But it's still showing as duplicated in your reports. Any support would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why is moz telling me I have duplicate content, but neither the content nor the urls are duplicates?
I just upgraded our website to a new one. This is the first crawl of the new website. It is telling me I have 24 Critical issues, all of which are duplicate content errors. Thing is, the urls are not duplicates and the content on the page is not duplicated either. Example, here is one error where it says there are two duplicates: <colgroup><col width="595"></colgroup>

Moz encountered an error on one or more pages on your site
Error Code 804: HTTPS (SSL) Error Encountered The Moz Help Section only says: 804 HTTPS (SSL) error 804 errors result from a site with misconfigured SSL software. If Moz's crawlers cannot correctly interpret an SSL response for a home page, the crawl ends immediately. My site is publicly accessible on https - https://www.compleetverkleed.nl/ And I'm not seeing any issues with my certificate. Can anyone help me out? What steps can I take to troubleshoot this error? If SSL is misconfigured, how do I configure it properly?3
