External Links not showing in MOZ?
-
Hello:)
I have a ton of external links on my site, but there not showing on MOZ? The reason i'm slightly concerned is because my top competitor has 80 and I show as only having 3? Does any one know why this would be?
Also, my traffic on MOZ is a lot lower then my traffic report on Google Analytics? Is that normal, & which should I trust more?
Here's my Site: Www.ThumannAgency.com
Thank you in advance:)

No Problem,
Just a heads up in case you don't see where to look at your backlinks in webmaster tools:
Click on " Search Traffic " > " Links to Your Site " and enjoy!
Hope to see you on page 1 soon! Good Luck!

Thank you so much for doing that for me. I did try and look at my links on Google analytics, but couldn't find them. Probably because I should of been looking in wwbmaster tools. Wow So much to learn. Thanks again.

Hello,
ran your site through ahref.com and saw 30 backlinks, 17 of which were follow backlinks.
Moz doesn't have the kinda index that ahref and others have, they index bigger sites it seems but not the small fries where most of us are from. This is what leads to the backlink confusion when people check their backlinks on MOZ. While I love moz.com it has always saddened me that their index, doesn't capture the entirety of sites like ones I work on.
You're best place to check backlinks is your google webmaster tools and compare that data with sites like ahref and majestic, even moz just for that off chance they grabbed a link others didn't.
So to sum things up, since Moz.com has a smaller index compared to other sites, your overall metrix are not going to truly reflect your website. Google is still the only spot that gives you really complete datasets to work with, since they're really indexing your site and is what you should focus on the most, use moz, ahref and the like as side by side comparisons to determine what aspects need worked on.
Hope this helps!

Links and images in custom css are not recognised by Moz Toolbar or Yoast plugin
Hi, I am building a website in Wordpress and when checking the pages through Moz toolbar or Yoast plugin, I notice that these don't recognise the internal links in custom CSS and the images neither. Here some code to clarify how it is built: [vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][ultimate_heading main_heading="Veldrijden" alignment="left" main_heading_margin="margin-bottom:20px;"][/ultimate_heading][vc_single_image image="6497" img_size="full" onclick="custom_link" link="http://k488239.hosting.kinamo.be/activiteiten/veldrijden/"][vc_btn title="Meer info" color="mulled-wine" align="left" link="url:http%3A%2F%2Fk488239.hosting.kinamo.be%2Factiviteiten%2Fveldrijden%2F|||"][/vc_column] The links are embedded in images and in 'More info' buttons. Also the internal links in the main website navigation are not recognised, but the normal a href links are recognised. For the images it is a little different: the alt text from the images gets recognised by Moz, but Yoast says there are no images on the page. The only thing I can think of that there is no 'a href' in the links and for the images that it has something to do with the page builder. Can this effect my SEO results? Thanks.

Canonical in Moz crawl report
I'm wondering if the moz bot is seeing my rel="canonical" on my pages. There are 2 notices that are bothering me: Overly Dynamic URL Rel Canonical Overly Dynamic URL - This notice is being generated by urls with query strings. On the main page I have the rel="canonical" tag in the header. So every page with the query string has the canonical tag that points to the page that should be indexed. So my question...Why the notice? Isn't this being handled properly with the canonical tag? I know I can use my robots.txt or the tool in Google search console but is it really necessary when I have the canonical on every page? Here is one of the links that has the "Overly Dynamic URL" notice, as you can see the the canonical in the header points to the page without the query string: https://www.vistex.com/services/training/traditional-classroom/registration-form/?values=true&course-title=DMP101 – Data Maintenance Pricing – Business Processes&date=March 14, 2016 Rel Canonical - Every page in my report has this notice "Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical". I'm using the rel="canonical" tag on all of my pages by default. Is the report suggesting that I don't do this? Or is it suggesting that I should? Again...why the notice?

Has using Moz got me banned from Google search?
Dear fellow Mozzers, For the last couple of weeks when ever I do a google search I have to enter a captcha code. Now I hardly use google anymore which is annoying ! Then I went onto support.google.com and saw this: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/86640?hl=en&ref_topic=3378866 "Automated traffic includes: Sending searches from a robot, computer program, automated service, or search scraper Using software that sends searches to Google to see how a website or webpage ranks on Google" Is Moz alone doing this? Thanks in advance for your response. Ash

Why does the Moz Tool Bar show code as HTML text for my site?
When I run my site in the Moz Tool bar, all of the page elements are read correctly except for HTML text. Sample page: http://www.lifeionizers.com/blog/alkaline-water/electrolyzed-reduced-water Instead of the text on that page, the tool shows Javascript code: /* With a very high character count for text (14,247).

How to find all 301 redirect for URL xyz.com/products (internal and external)?
This is what we are thinking: Get all URL of the xyz.com/products using XENU software. Search those URL on google (site;xyz.com url ) to find out if they are crawled by google, do the same on bing (as currently google shows 4k URL and bing 11k ) Use opensiteexplorer (301 redirect ) and using (internal external) to get the desired result. Is this the right approach? If not, what is the best way to find the correct result? All suggestions are welcome.
