Before Migration/after(www/non-www/http/https) - Good concentration needed :p

Hi all,
Im confusing between those www's and http's.
If i go to searchbar (chrome) and ENTER: www.mywebsite.nl, It changes to https://www.mywebsite.nl
( with www, and https:// not used) / Its OKnext: typing in searchbar and enter: mywebsite.nl, It changes to https://mywebsite.nl (without www and https:// ) / OK
Next: www.mywebsite.nl, it stay the same, just https:// added: https://mywebsite.nl (used with https://) / OK
Now its comes: If I do it again without http**(s)://mywebsite.nl, **It changes to https://www.mywebsite.nl/?SID=bccbuhvi1cf53r188bpvskn597 / NOT OK
In google search console (webmastertool) I gave property for the https://mywebsite.nl and https://www.mywebsite.nl
Each of the website, Im seeying data clicks/ volume keywords etc, so both of them functionating
By search console: https://www.mywebsite.nl (With www) I see crawlfaults/errors: 1633 (the url has not linked existing page)
- I see again: "?SID=..." after urls, example: mywebsite.nl/blabla/?SID=m07ev6lliefbf0tfhe4kf0ih54
By search console - other website: https://mywebsite.nl **(none-www) **you see two crawlfaults/errors!
Bad influance for my SEO, because of no existed pages, bad urls and dubble content. Bye bye keywords!
Lets analyze/crawl with Moz tool ofcourse ^^:
Pages with High Priority Issues:
| 2646 | Duplicate Page Content |
| 14 | 4XX Client Error |
| 3 | Crawl Attempt Error |
| 1 | Title Missing or Empty |Medium priority:
| 9618 | Temporary Redirect |
| 2688 | Duplicate Page Title |
| 13 | Title Element is Too Long |
| 1 | Missing Meta Description Tag |After seeying this results what is the best option (no losing link-juice)? redirect 301? www to none-www (https://) ?
Shortly I am going to change my domain provider and the website template in magento. After that I am going to focus on the SEO implementation. First, I have to solve this problem. Who can give me an advice for this situation?
Regarding,
Newbee

Dan,
Thank you for your support. After all, I will help googlespider (without duplicate content/title).
I was in shok I saw 50 duplicate content of each main category. But after all, im going to compare before/after results:
- Redirect all versions to https www.
- And no duplicate content and 4xx errors.
- adjust Intern links
Also, using attractive keywords, linkbuilding, etc.

Hello
Yes - after you do the redirects, Google will gradually start to show everything in one property. It may take a few weeks as they re-crawl everything.
But as far as your rankings, this might help a little bit, but there are a lot of other factors. Without knowing the industry, keywords etc it's really tough to say what else might be holding you back. There is no penalty for this kind of duplicate content.
Hope that helps!

Hi Dan,
Thank you for the answer.
So, all parts redirect to https www. (redirect 301). Yes I have to screen the internal links/ canonical tags, thnx.
At this moments I see different data's between https non-www and https www. in Search Console tool. So, after redirects can I use one property - https www version?
The situation now is that Googlespider see duplicate content and thats why I dont get in the top 50 in google search? Im I right? And ofcourse there are more factors then only duplicate content and errors.

Hello
I would consider https and www to be the "correct" version of all pages, and be sure all other versions redirect to that.
So:
- http www - redirects to https www
- http non-www - redirects to https www
- https non-www - redirects to https www
Just also be sure all of your internal links, canonical tags etc match the https www version
Search Console should reflect the changes as soon as the correct version is indexed and re-cached.

If I have set up my www as a cname, do I still need to add a redirect?
Hello, I am trying to minimize my redirect chains that have been popping up in my Moz crawl issues. So I'd like to get clear on some best practices. I have a few clients that are getting their first redesign in a while. We are moving into Wordpress from good ole .html files. So I've installed a redirection plug in to create 301 redirects for those .html versions of the pages. But apparently I am already redirecting from www to non-www. I have the www set up as a CNAME going to the IP address - is that counting as the redirection? Sometimes though, the www is set up by making it an A record. Is one way better than the other? Finally, I'm forcing https for all my new sites now. Is whatever the host does to "force" https also counting as a redirect and contributing to my chain? Any advice will be appreciated!

Should I set blog category/tag pages as "noindex"? If so, how do I prevent "meta noindex" Moz crawl errors for those pages?
From what I can tell, SEO experts recommend setting blog category and tag pages (ie. "http://site.com/blog/tag/some-product") as "noindex, follow" in order to keep the page quality of indexable pages high. However, I just received a slew of critical crawl warnings from Moz for having these pages set to "noindex." Should the pages be indexed? If not, why am I receiving critical crawl warnings from Moz and how do I prevent this?

Need Help with www and non-www redirect
Hi everyone, I've been looking around the forum and found some similar topics but none of them have solved my problem. Anyway, I'm new to SEO and found that when I use Open Site Explorer for the www version of my site I see the links directed to my page, but none of my twitter stats show up. When I do the same for my non-www version. I see my twitter stats, but no links. Facebook seems unchanged. Also, the Page Authority is much higher for the www (I assume because of the links) It is my understanding that it doesn't matter which version of the domain is used, I just need to pick one and stick with it (on Google Webmaster Tools, etc.). And that I also need to do a 301 redirect for the version that I'm not using. The issue now is that I have a 301 redirect, and when I type in my url in any version (http, https, www, non-www) it all redirects in the browser without issue. So i know users are getting to the right page, but the Open Site Explorer still sees them as 2 different sites. My concern is that if Open Site Explorer sees it this way then Google may see it this way as well and I could be missing out on potential rankings. I'm currently doing the redirect in the .htaccess file. The redirect looks like this: RewriteEngine On
Moz Pro | | opstart
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://mydomain.com/$1 [R=301,L] Any Ideas on what I need to do to properly 301 redirect the site so that my preferred version can get credited with the links, twitter, and Page Authority stats? Also, I'm using wordpress and it has the URL set to the non-www version of the site. However, I think I would like to change this to the www version because most of the links are directing to www, and I also think people are more familiar with that format. Anyway, sorry for the long post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.0 -
Bing Search volume 0 is this good or bad?
So this might be a stupid question, but that whole no such thing as a stupid questions applies here. I am trying to narrow down keywords for title tags and on page optimization. I am focusing on my local, instate SEO only. So no nationwide searches, just local. When I add in my state, so Colorado then keyword It shows 0 matches. When I add Keyword then Colorado a few matches But there is a difficulty rating of 30% or so. Would this mean that it would be good to go after this? or bad because no one searches for my term? Then when I add my keyword, and no state, 6000 matches. But would this mean everyone and there brother is going after it? So unless you are a big brand, stay away? Thank you for your help. I am just trying to make sure I am using it right. Chris

Problems with Crawl Diagnostics/New Campaign
Hi all I added a new domain to my campaigns yesterday and got the usual message saying we will have a small set of results ready in a couple of hours, and the rest will be done in a week or so. 24 hours later, this same message is still showing. Anyone else experiencing this or is it just related to my domain? Many thanks. Carl

One Follow Link from each subdomain/domain best for SEO?
Hi there, we have a lot of customers linking to our homepage from a subdomain of our domain or from an external domain. From SEO point of view is it best that they all only have one DoFollow Link and the rest of the links are NoFollow? Or does this have no matter at all? The problem is that we have like 900.000 links but only from round about 1000 different root domains. If we put like half of the links on NoFollow our ratio of links/ different root domains gets better. Thanks for answering! Sebastian

Non search traffic in a report, user data etc
Are there any plans so we could add more data from Google Analytics to the seomoz reports? At the moment the reports are nice but my clients want to know the bigger picture than just the search traffic. They need to know the total traffic, the bounce rate, pages viewed etc - data in Google Analytics. There are other seo type tools which offer this information when you generate reports and if seomoz were to allow it then it would make life so much easier as I would not need to maintain a subscription here for the cool tools on offer and to offer websites at up to $100 a month just to generate client reports.
