MOZ Tool not reading my xml sitemap.
-
I have submitted an xml sitemap to Search Console back in December, and it's been approved, but the moz tool says there's no xml sitemap. Please help!!!

Hi again Robert,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you about this! I've been away for a few days.
If you submitted the sitemap directly to Google's tools, you should be seeing this in Search Console but not in the Moz tools. Google don't share this information with us (or anyone else) and it's not possible for us to detect that you've submitted this to them.
I took a look at the site using MozBar and am still not seeing an error to say that you're missing an XML sitemap. We don't check for this as one of the page elements so I'm not sure where the error you're seeing would be coming from. If you'd like to send me a screenshot of the error you're seeing, to help@moz.com, I can look into it further for you.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for responding to my question. The campaign I'm addressing is Mully's Touch of Ireland, and yes, we are seeing an error in the diagnosis section of the chrome extension, that we are missing an xml sitemap.
Thanks,
Robert Tapia

Hi there,
Lisa from the Moz support team, here.
We shouldn't be checking for an XML sitemap within the site crawl, so I wouldn't expect to see this. Are you seeing an error to let you know that it is missing? I took a look in your account but you have a number of campaigns and I was not sure which you were having trouble with.

Search volume discrepancies between keyword tools
I'm feeling like I'm basing all my research time on tools that I cannot necessarily trust. Between Google keyword planner, Keywords everywhere chrome extension, and Moz keyword explorer, I'm getting wildly different results on 2 simple keywords related to colleges with baking & pastry arts degrees. "baking college", "baking colleges" So Keyword planner won't give me any search volume for those 2 words, I don't even see them in the results. Instead, it decides I really meant "baker college" which has 33,100 global searches. I tried telling it use only closely related terms, but it keeps giving me "baker college" and refuses to show me the terms I asked for. Stubbornly useless. Keywords everywhere says both of these keywords bring in 33,100 searches. It does not tell me those searches were for "baker college." Totally misleading. Moz keyword explorer says baking college as 0-10 volume, baking colleges has 101-200 volume. So at least it's not trying to give me "baker college" numbers. Perhaps I can trust this, but it's not convenient to upload hundreds of various keywords at a time to pull the volume numbers like I do with the other tools. With Keyword planner making assumptions and grouping unrelated terms together, and Keywords everywhere using those numbers without pointing out the assumptions, I feel like I can't trust anything without taking time to dig into the discrepancies, which is impossible with hundreds of keywords. Do you know of any good search volume tools that don't force or hide assumptions? Thanks.

Keyword explorer tool - keywords by domain functionality
Hi, We have issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our MOZ campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien

Moz Crawl Test says pages have no internal links
Greetings, I am working on a website, https://www.nasscoinc.com, and ran a Moz Crawl Test on it. According to the crawl test, only 2 of the website's hundreds of pages are receiving internal links. When I run a similar test on the site using Screaming Frog, I see that most of the pages have at least one internal link. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before with the crawl test; and there is a way to get the crawl test to see the internal links? Thanks!

Moz Local | Download Template
Dear Moz I've received your email about Moz Local. A fantastic tool but it does not allow you to download a template. Clicking 'Download this template' simply reloads the page. I am testing it under incognito mode of Chrome with no add-ons Thank you!

Problems with Moz tools
Hello, I am having real problems with Moz tools. I can log in to Moz analytics (crawl diagnostics) and analyse one site and I get 2 [internal] duplicate page errors Yet when I enter via pro.moz.com (crawl diagnostics) I am finding over 100 duplicate page content warnings? Any idea why this is happening?

Moz ranking report shows massive loss in Bing SERP's. But it is not the case?
My weekly ranking report shows massive loss of SERP's on Bing. For most keywords I was no longer in the top 50 which where first top 5. But when I checked it out for myself, I'm still ranked top 5 for these keywords. I then used the Moz Rank Tracker and there it also says I'm still ranking top 5 for these keywords. What should I believe now?

How is this possible, Keyword Difficulty tool has some problems
Hello guys, I have some concerns or misunderstanding. If I am about to look for [software development] using Google first, it shows that the Exact match for the keyword is 16,574, then I choose Bing and I had the same number 16,574. Yahoo is the showing the same figure. Do I miss something in here or this tool doesn't work? odd_zps2388b5a9.png

Have any insight into why our Moz Rank dropped?
I'm working on a site with a very low domain authority to start and in viewing our historical MozRank comparison to competitors I see that we had a MozRank between 2 and 3 two months ago, but now have a MozRank of 0. What could have triggered this dropoff? It's clear we need to boost domain authority, but we have never had any so we're no worse in that department now than we were two months ago. Any insight here would be useful. Thanks! W2A1u2D.png
