Navigation pages with a PA 1
-
Ok, you guys probably think this is a new website and i should just wait, but this is not the case.
We have 2 websites (old) websites with a DA of 34 and a DA of 19 and high PA values on the mainpage. Our problem: All the other pages stay at a page authority of 1. One website is build in Magento and one in Wordpress. Both websites have deeplinks, footerlinks en in-contentlinks. The other pages don't get any linkjuice according to Moz.
We don't use any robot noindex, nofollow or nofollow links and the menu structure

isn't the problem.
Is anyone familiare with the problem? I know is shouldn't be concerned about PA/DA, but i just can't explain what's going on.

No problem! I have seen a case before where one of the pages on the Moz website had a PA of 1 (perhaps it was a very new page!)

Hi Eli,
Thanks for your quick response!
No, i can confirm we don't block the crawlers with a noindex or within the robots.txt.
One of the domains is changed from https://www. to https:// without www. 6 months ago.
But the other didn't change. The backlinkprofile is ok, and i understand i should just build backlinks to the pages to see what it does, but i still think it's strange to have a PA of 45 on the mainpage and it just isn't giving any juice to the first level categoriestructure (main menu).
I'll keep you guys updated if the PA starts to change.Greetings,

Hey!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Open Site Explorer is tied to our Mozscape index, which tends to update roughly once a month. (Latest update being 5th Feb, and the next update due for around the end of March).
- We grab the most recent index.
- We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains).
- We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index).
The idea here is that we're focusing on the highest-quality links we can find, coming from the most prominent pages of authoritative sites. So, while you may not see every link for a site within our index, we're aiming to report the most valuable ones available!
Most new sites and links will be indexed by our spiders and available in Mozscape and Open Site Explorer within 60 days, but some take even longer for many reasons - including the crawl-ability of sites, the number of inbound links to them, and the depth of pages in subdirectories. You can see our most recently updated schedule here as well as some more technical metrics on our Mozscape API Updates page.
Since Moz focuses on quality of links over quantity, we are always focused on the most relevant links to display to our users. It's possible that Moz's index will leave out some of the lower-quality (non-link juice providing) links / pages out of our index because of this.
I would generally recommend checking that we aren't being blocked from crawling the page. If our web crawlers are blocked from crawling certain pages (i.e., with "noindex" or Robots.txt), they may not be included in the index, however, in your case you seem fairly confident that this is not the issue, which leads me to the conclusion that it is simply due to the fact that we have not picked up your page in our latest index.
Generally, we recommend using a wide variety of backlink tools to get the most illustrative picture of how your site's backlink profile looks. OSE and Ahrefs index differently and have different purposes. Ahrefs is good for quantity while OSE is great for finding higher quality links.
Please don't hesitate to write in at help@moz.com if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Eli

Website domain authority dropped from 55 to 1 in two months
Hi all! Our website DA dropped from 55 to 1 in a matter of two months. Last time I checked, it was two months ago and the website DA was 55. When I checked today, it is 1. Needless to day, I am shocked. The website has been around since 1995 and has always had pretty decent DA and PA. We made a couple of important changes during past 3-4 months. One is to support HTTPS and another is to implement the responsive web design to support browsing by mobile devices. What could be the reason for such a dramatic drop of DA in a short period of time? Where would you suggest me to look for it? How can we get the problem fixed? Here is the website URL: www.infohub.com Thank you!

Is everybody seeing DA/PA-drops after last MOZ-api update?
Hi all, I was wondering what happend at the last MOZ-update. The MOZ-health page has no current errors and i've checked a lot of websites probably about 50 a 60 from our customers and from our competitiors and everybody seems to have a decrease in DA's / PA's. Not just a couple went up and down like normally would happen, but all seems to have dropped.... Is anyone seeing the same in their campaigns? Greetings,

Does Moz's crawlers use _escaped_fragment_ to inspect pages on a single-page application?
I just got started, but got a 902 error code on some pages, with a message saying there might be an outage on my site. That's certainly not the case, so I'm wondering if the crawlers actually respect and use the escaped_fragment query parameter. Thanks, David.

Huge in crease in on page errors
Hi guys I’ve just checked my online campaign and I see errors in my crawl diagnostics have almost doubled from the 21st of October to the 25th of October going from 6708 errors to 11 599. Can anyone tell me what may have caused this? Also I notice we have a lot of issues with duplicate page titles which seems strange as no new pages have been added, can anyone explain why this might be? I look forward to hearing from you
