A client has a single page app website that shows https://example.com/example when you visit https://example.com . I don't think this is a redirect; I think it's a URL rewrite. My questions:
1. Is this setup common with single page apps?
2. What are the SEO benefits or drawbacks of having a domain's homepage load, rewrite, or redirect to a subfolder?

We redirect www to non www version for main domain but still old cache pages affected.

How to stop UTM affecting SEO

Dear Moz community, We are a directory website and have lots and lots of UTM. This is crucial as we want to measure visits through Google analytics. Moz as a tool is fantastic because through a site crawl it can spot all our duplicate pages. Needless to say, due to the amount of UTM's on different pages, we have lots of duplicate pages flagged up. I ideal solution is still having the analytics capabilities of the UTM, but not affecting our SEO where search engines will realise it is not a duplicate page - we're aware it is the same page we just want to track the source! Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks,

SEO best practice : HTTP to HTTPS

What's the best practice to switch from an all HTTP site to an all HTTPS site ?
No changes to the site structure, just a full site switch to SSL.
Right now, the site is reachable with HTTP and with HTTPS. http://crocodesign.be --> https://crocodesign.be

Do Abbreviations Hurt SEO Results?

We have certain products that we've abbreviated since it's a bit too long. For example, the word Fair Trade Organic is one of our categories and we abbreviate it to FTO. If I put FTO on our meta tag titles and links instead of the actual word, would that provide a weaker result?

I have read that loading images from a subdomain of your site instead of the main domain will give you speed benefits on load time. Has anyone actually seen that to be the case? Thanks!

Problem with indexing
