Having trouble getting csv from OSE via email. Anyone else? Solutions?

Thanks for the update Casey. Ironically, my inability to access OSE reports has been a reminder of how dependent I am on them. Perhaps to much so...

We will be going back to the direct download option by the end of the week. If you need a report before then and didn't get your email, try submitting it again.

I've been having troubles as well. Sometimes it sends it, sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully we'll eventually be able to download them directly again.

Broken CSV files?

Hi, I have been downloading fiels from seoMOZ for quite a while and I keep getting broken CSV files. ON my Mac, I wrote a script that cleaned them out but I cannot (don't know how) do this on the Windows side. The problem is that some of the record lines get broken up mainly in the "Anchor Text" field (maybe the anchor text in question contained a return). This of course messes up my file when I open it in Excel. Is there a way get/open these files without having them messed up like this? P..S. I am also seeing problem with text encoding, I would like to see the anchor text that is being diaplayed on the referring site rather than its HTML/Unicode/UTF-8 code value. TIA, Michel

How I plan to go about getting business - what do you think?

I prepared a real professional looking website analysis packet. The emphasis is on it being VERY professional and classy, nothing cheesy about it. (If you want a copy send me a p.m. and I will email you one). It will take me about 8 minutes to look at their site and run it through a couple tools and and have a quick list of things that are missing. Another 10 minutes for my office manager to edit the template and print a good looking copy. My plan is to take out and deliver about 10 of these a day and call and follow up on them over the phone. My hope is that when they see the quality and professionalism of the report the chances are low it gets thrown in the trash and when I call I have a REASON to call and not some random idiot cold calling. **What do you think? Any suggestions? ** I have a lot of sales background and don't mind talking to people and I know the key will be in FOLLOWING UP which is what MOST people are NOT willing or able to bring themselves to do. I realize that giving away a 'free' report may devalue what I have to offer in some peoples minds...... thought about that. I am just getting started and only have a few clients but I HAVE produced great things for those few but I need to get the ball rolling a little quicker. My page has a 302 redirect and I don't know how to get rid of it!

I use Internet Officer tool to see the 302 redirect but I check the redirects in the CPanel and there are none. In the .htaccess there are none either. I don't know where else to look 😞 The url is http://servicioshosting.com Can you guys help me? I can't set up a campaign because Google can't crawl the website. I can't setup the Facebook OpenGraph because of the redirect. error.jpg

Stats from Moz bar and OSE not changed over last three months - new update?

I have noticed for a few of my websites that the SEOMoz stats have not changed over the last three months; PR, MR and even total external links. Is both the tool bar and OSE going through further updates and not yet pulling through accurate results? Any advice on this would be much appreciated.

I have tried to download a csv report from Open Site Explorer. But it has been pending since 2 days. Why do these reports take so much time? When can I expect to get this report?

Y!SE and OSE

Hi So now when Y!SE is closed im trying to find alternative, so im trying OSE basically i like the data that it showed to me but the numbers is unbelievable different. Im used Y!SE about 1 year so i have statistic for a year. Previous month for my client homepage i have 2625 total external links and now OSE reports me only 1558, for the main category page was 16 now 68\. Most strange for me is total external links for root domain on Y!SE its always been around 6-7k but now OSE reports me 10,053. So my question why numbers so different can it be that the Y!SE don`t update for several month there data or some others reason? Thanks, Sergey

Impact of 301-redirected domains on OSE Metrics

When looking at the OSE metrics (DA, PA, Number Linking RDs etc.) is it purely based on OSEs evaluation of the specific domain or will it take into account links that have been 301-redirected to the domain?
