Paid-for featured article on dailymail.co.uk with follow links

Hey Mozzers,
Our PR team are paying for a featured article on dailymail.co.uk to increase brand visibility and coverage on a high traffic website.
The article, however, is fairly thin content, and it has a couple of follow links back to our own site.
From an SEO point of view, how do you feel about this?

From an SEO stand point?
-- Google might consider the links in this article to be paid links. If they are marked as nofollow or as sponsored then they should not have a bad SEO impact. But if they are not marked nofollow of sponsored then they might be a problem.
-- You got an article because you want to increase brand visibility. So, what is the DailyMail doing to deliver traffic into your article? Are they shouting it on on their home page and on every relevant page across the site? An article on an orphan page is worth nothing. An article on a heavily promoted page is worth a lot more.
-- How long is the article going to be there, and how long will strong promotion of it persist?
-- It's a thin content article. It would be best to give them a very high quality article if lots of people are going to see it. That will produce a positive impression for your brand. The high quality article will also rank better in the SERPs, if the Daily Mail is allowing it to be indexed. If it is going to be used on the DM for a limited amount of time, it could then be used on another website or your own.,
-- How would I spend my next block of money and time? I would make a kickass 10x article and post it on my own website.

Should I disavow these links?
Hi all, I have a ski website that I am currently performing a toxic backlink audit on. I have noted that a lot of the links being flagged as toxic/spammy by the tool I am using seem to be the same/similar sites with different URLs. The sites are vaguely related to skiing (relating to helicopter travel options for travelling to ski resorts) but it is concerning me that there are so many of them and they are being flagged as so toxic.

Value of Links? What is each link worth?
Morning Everyone, I just had this thought and wondered what everyone's opinions were in terms of link value in monetary terms. We'll assume for the purposes of this that the links come from contextually relevant sites and that the sites in question have got the Moz DA from being high quality and have a good quality incoming link profile. Its a bit of a theoretical question, but i guess imagine if the only way you could get links was to pay for them, what would they be worth to you. This is link value for SEO purposes, they will have in addition value from traffic from good sites, that no doubt varies wildly depending on topic. I assume everyone also agrees on: The first link from a domain is the most valuable High DA sites are worth more than low ones. So could anyone who has an opinion on the link value suggest a monetary value for links. Its really just using a monetary amount to see how best to target my time. Here is my example of what might be expected, but I am hoping people with more knowledge will perhaps correct it. Blog articles on website vs submitting to article submission sites
I had some articles created for a client. The site is on WordPress. I'm wondering if it is best to add the articles to the blog page of the website or if it is better to submit the articles to ezine articles. Or can I submit the same article to both places? Is there a strategy that should be followed generally speaking when creating content for the blog vs article submission sites? The goal is to increase the ranking for target keywords. I realize that the answers could take a lot of different directions. But generally speaking I would like to know, If I have an article where is the best place to add it to achieve better rankings for target keywords? Thanks for the help.

What's the difference between follow and nofollow links?
I understand this may be a really dumb question and from my understanding there is a piece of code in some url's that tell search engines not to follow that link. I am interested in finding out what the purpose of nofollow links are and how they apply to search rankings. Thanks for the help
