Creating multiple GMB listings same address?
-
Hi Guys,
We have a medical centre which has different services like medical, dental, pathology, mental health and 3-4 other services.
They are all at the same address within the medical centre. Currently, we have a GMB listing just for the medical centre. But we're looking to create separate GMB listings for each service.
I was wondering if anyone has done this before and can speak from experience of the pros and cons of doing this?
It seems we will have a lot more GMB listings to manage, but we should benefit more from relevant GMB searchers and this will improve our visibility.
Cheers,
Mark

In my experience, Google quite often see this (rightly or wrongly) as an illegitimate attempt to increase your search footprint. Quite often some listings get banned, denied, removed, or increased scrutiny is put on your original listing
Google really wants serrate listings for separate businesses, not separate listings for different services. That's why it's called Google My Business and not Google My Service. The core remit of the platform is to list businesses, not fragmented services. To those who try to derail this, sometimes it can work pretty well - but usually (in the end) it causes more problems than it solves
You could label your services as different businesses and give them different internal addresses (e.g: Unit 1, Unit 2 etc). If that seems really inaccurate, then it probably says that your attempt to diversify online in jumping the gun a little (and Google may not embrace it)

Does a lot of Google Business Account create website SEO keyword spam?
Hi, I have an SEO client from Abu Dhabi and when I handover the project - they got only one Google My business page. One month after SEO keyword rankings found to be great. However, from last week onwards, I have noted keywords ranking is dropping. When I checked with their map - one of the keyword map rankings also lost. When I cross-checked their listing - it has been showing -they listed 8 Google my business verification.Using the same website and same phone number - just to make their presence all over Abu Dhabi. My question is -does this affect SEO keyword ranking?

Kayak rental and and annual closure - GMB
Hi Mozzers, I rent kayaks in Belgium and from tomorrow (15 November), it will be the annual closing until 15 March. In Google My Business, do I have to change the opening hours by closing? Is there a risk that Google will penalize my company's visibility by seeing that it is closed every day? Because we can't indicate closing dates. Thank you in advance for your help. Regards, Jonathan

Radius Size around GMB location for google local search
We are a digital marketing agency Our clients are (virtually all) retail automotive dealerships. We compete in various market places coast to coast (USA). Since Google puts retail automotive dealerships under Local SEO umbrella, is it known ( published ) how large is the radius around my client's Google My Business rooftop's address? How wide is their search 'reach' according to Google? Asked another way, in a triangular, three SEO geo area, with one city being at the epicenter of the population dispersion, and my client, versus my client's competitors being different distances from where the majority of the population emanates from, all other SERP factors being equal (assumption) between the two competitors, how far is each clients REACH from a Local Search standpoint. Is this known? Published by Google. ONE example: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/BMW+of+South+Albany,+U.S.+9W,+Glenmont,+NY/42.7662693,-73.8138088/@42.6727121,-73.7993527,12z/data=!4m9!4m8!1m5!1m1!1s0x89dde0fe8829c405:0xd915fb9b3b60bf33!2m2!1d-73.7973301!2d42.589211!1m0!3e0

How to create a filter view to view local search traffic in google analytics ?
Id like to be able to drill down into the local search traffic for a site in google analytics, i know i can get some analytics data via google's local places dashboard, but id like to see a more detailed chart in google analytics. I read this article and installed this filtered view dashboard from Local U, but it seems its stopped working since it was originally published back in July 13. Is there a more up to date method for capturing this data ?

Is it ok to use a mobile phone number for business listings?
Hi all

I know the use of 0800 numbers and toll-free numbers are a big No when it comes to NAP but what about mobile phone numbers?
Will google penalise the use of a mobile over the use of a land line? Thanks0 -
Google Local Result- Competitor Ranks without an Address. Why is this happening?
My client is in a fairly competitive local market and there is a competitor who has ranked locally for around 2 years, but they have no actual address on their Google business listing. Just city and state. The listing is always top three and it does have their website listed, but directions aren't even available as there is actual no address. The listing is extremely keyword dense (basically spam but they actually created a business with the spam name). Citation Example: Keyword dense business name, phone number, city and state only Have you seen this? Can you explain why this is happening? Is this against the rules/anything I can do? Thanks!

Multiple Domain optimization
Hello all, I'm a bit new to this, though I'd like to think I'm a fast learner when it comes to IT related stuff...as I've been doing it for long enough. Here's my question. I have a non-profit corporation that covers a small region referred to as "Upper Cape" which covers four towns (mashpee, sandwich, falmouth, bourne). I have a direct competitor in each town who has a domain that contains the name of the town. Being that I'd like to optimize across the four towns, I've decided to also purchase up 4 domain names that contain the towns. Rather than forward the domains to the upper cape domain, I've cloned instances of word press containing my data across 4 different sites that contain the towns.

As I got to thinking about this...I thought that it might actually hurt me...looking for insight and help as to how best to do this to optimize search (and be found) across these four towns.0
