Backlink Question

Hello.
I have an eCommerce Flower Shop Website and I have created an Online Free Game so player can create flower arrangement and stuff like that.
If I had this game directly on my website and provide Embed Code so other Online Gaming Portals can add the game to their website. Would it be good to create back links for my website and increase my domain authority and SEO of my Flower Shop website?
I ask because I am also in the Gaming industry and when I release my games, they can be added to hundreds of other gaming portals. But I am just afraid that since this is not is the same domain activity, this might hurt my SEO for my flower website.
What are your thoughts about that?

Hi! This might answer your question: https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/67654/seo-if-another-website-uses-a-iframe-from-our-website-would-the-links-in-the-i
It was a little ambiguous which method you were going to use for the embed code, if you were planning to have others embed via iframe, then the links would be you to you. In that case, it may hurt your site if a more popular site is treated as a canonical and is indexed instead of yours.

Should you disavow backlinks even if your site spam score is 1%?
With a site spam score of 1% as indicated by Moz, is it worth the effort or necessary to disavow backlinks in Google? Even at just 1%, could those spammy links still hurt a site's Google search rankings, even in the slightest of ways? As it relates to disavowing backlinks, everything I read about is only related to sites with high spam scores. But what about sites with low spam scores? I'm interested in best practices for dealing with spammy links, regardless of one's site spam score. Thank you

Are "feed" Backlinks an issue? - Vigorous Fickle in the rankings in past two months
Hi All! I have been observing a vigorous fickle in my rankings since past two months. Some first page keywords have moved to the second page. Some of my observations from the backlink audit rose below questions: Q1. Are large # of backlinks from "feed URLs" harmful in any way? If yes?

Q2. Am I supposed to get webmasters take these down or block their own feed URL?
Q3. The backlinks come in huge numbers from reliable websites. Do I need to remove the backlinks just because of the huge number?
Q4. What factors to look for if rankings started fluctuating in past 2 months? Note: these backlinks from "feed" are from the websites who posted our editorials. Backlink Example: http://xyz.com/categories/abc/feed/0 -

Metatags on drupal question
Hi Im quite inexperienced on drupal (normally an umbraco user!) and im having some difficulty with the Metatags on the CMS. I have been applying Meta Title and descriptions to the individual pages however they only appear when i preview the page and not when the page is saved. When i go into the metatag section located at /admin/config/search/metatags i am given a list of settings including Global: Front Page and Node. Im sure the reason it keeps defaulting the metatags back is to do with this but im not sure what to change to apply my own Thanks in advance

Ecommerce question - Should I use a CDN for my images. ?
Hi , We are currently in the process of re-developing out commerce website and I wondering should we use a CDN (content delivery nertwork) for our product images. My category pages are currently showing approx 21 product images per page and the page speed is okay but can be better but the page size is rather large ... anything between 600kb - 1 Meg. We do optimise the images already in photoshop. We also do things like minify etc to get the pages to load as fast as possible but I think the only thing left is using a CDN but I have heard mixed reports about using this.? We are also doing a mobile responsive version of the site to but I know that speed will be king with google and how it reflects on rankings. Whilst I can see a CDN will improve image page load speed etc, I guess there a negative SEO impact as well as images will be stored in the cloud ?.. as opposed on to on my site/database. Does anyone know how best to implement a CDN without impacting on SEO or know of any good SEO /implementation articles on this ?... Maybe do Ieave some images on my category pages so I can still do the alt image tags etc/ and have the remaining images on the CDN.? Many Thanks Sarah

What Questions to Ask in SEO Interview
Tomorrow morning I have a call with an SEO company interested in doing some work with our company. Its a larger company who do a lot of SEO work, and seem to have good feedback around the place. But we have been very very white hat in our all our our SEO work so far, and some of their wording on their site talks about "Negotiations and acquisitions of link partners".. which gives me the feel they might be a little grey hat.. What are some good questions we should ask these guys to make sure what they are doing is legit, and not going to get us stung for anything? And what sort of work should we get them to do, if we are happy to take care of content creation, on page optimisation and social media activities? Thanks!
