Why is there difference in keywords of moz and ahrefs
-
Hello, my welding helmets website Helmet Adviser is about reviews and is causing me confusion. When I check my site keywords in Moz it shows lesser keywords and when I check in ahrefs it shows more. Same is for backlinks. But Moz keywords research is very authentic and i want to rely on it for keywords and backlinks too. Please elaborate for me why is there diff between Moz and ahref, so I can better utilize Moz by understanding what is going on in the background.

Eric,
There are no absolutes in SEO. Ask me any question and I can give you 5 different good answers for it.
There are no absolutes when it comes to platforms for SEO tools, either. They've each arrived at their distinct solutions from different perspectives, although they may be trying to attain the same goals.
Experience is the answer. Using and comparing how the tools provide the answers you're looking for is what make them shine for each of their particular qualities. You have to use them all to understand how to compare them all. There are no shortcuts to that.

Hi - Thanks for posting.
The ranking keywords section of Keyword Explorer is powered by a different corpus than other parts of the tool. Although this keyword corpus is large, it doesn't include all keywords so there may be keywords you're checking elsewhere in our tool suite (like Rank Checker) that have not been added to our ranking keywords corpus just yet.
This corpus will continue to grow, though, and although I'm not able to provide an ETA at this time you may see those keywords included at a later date. If you'd like to track those additional keywords that aren't in the corpus just yet, I would suggest adding them to a Campaign. That way you can continue to track your rankings for them over time.
Best,

Page Authority different between Moz Open Site Explorer and On Page analyser
I have a client who has an old URL with 3 linking root domains and 4 links, with a PA of 24. This is on the open site explorer. There is a 301 redirect in place to direct this old url to the new url. When he uses the Moz bar on page, it shows that he has a PA of only 1 with no LRDs or inbound links? Can anyone please explain why this is happening and if this could affect further page links across his site? It would be appreciated. Kind regards

Can I use the keyword explorer to find negative keywords? We focus on a few things in our business that we focus on but the feedback that I get from the tool is not helpful
All in all, this business focuses in a very small area, and there are things that others in our business do that we do not.Yes,a guy that knows nothing about SEO... This is a junk removal business, and some of the competition do everything. This is a small outfit that only hauls junk.Much of the competition that we have sells junk bins,we do not.We just haul junk..we do not paint,or any of the things that they do. I just keep getting things sent to me me in my list here about bin sales etc,and it is making impossible to search for keywords without a way to manage what is coming in some way..Google let me do this, but I am just hoping to use this tool entirely if I am going to pay for it.Maybe I am lost being new,and confused. How can I use this tool? Are there any settings,or anything that you can teach a non SEO minded guy like me? Thanks

Duplicated content detected with MOZ crawl with canonical applied
Hi there! I have a slight problem.
Link Explorer | | Eurasmus.com
I have a site with Joomla 3.3 that we recently migrated from 2.5. Joomla, for some reason that I don´t really get, creates hundreds of weird urls for the site like
mydomain.com/en -> joomla creates en/home/149-xxx-xxx/xxxxxx-xxxxxx that links to the first one.
The new version 3.3 knows this bug and applies a rel=canonical to the ones created "artificially", so they should not be identified as duplicated. Sample piece of code: en/home/149-all-en/xxxxxxx-xxxxxx" rel="canonical" / MOZ crawler identifies this as duplicated and like this I have thousands of pages duplicated all with titles, content etc... all the ones created by joomla. Still my site has good SEO results and I can not see any penalties but I am a bit concerned they may come in the future.... Can anyone explain me what is happening? Thank you in advance for your time,0
