Are DA and PA still important?
-
I am quite vague about this concept, a few years ago it was quite effective and I used it to evaluate the quality of the website. But lately, I have a headache because some of the DA, PA pages are lower than my website (This keyword doing SEO: Intel core i9) but the rank is still higher.
Hope to be answered.
Thanks! -
Yenu, I also find that occasionally, websites with poorer PA and DA rank higher than sites with weaker PA and DA. This certainly backs the point that these are Moz metrics and not Google metrics. That said, Moz professionals (good SEOs in general) would not encourage you to set goals to increase PA and DA, but rather set goals that bring the highest value to the website. In the SEO world, that could equate to more pages in the top 3 (or 5, or 10) position, which is not a Moz metric, but is straight from Google.
I hope this helps!
Zack

Questions about the DA,PA of website
I am counting on some more ads on the site https://gogoanime.city/, is it a problem if I add some ads about sex, porn ..., to make a little more money. So does it affect the PA DA score. Thank you!

I am losing 1 point of DA at month? What could it be? I have noticed I have lost 50K (out of 300K) of internal links after a website update, could it be related to that?

Google is still indexing the old domain a year after 301 redirects are put in place
Hi there, You might have experienced this before but for me this is the first. A client of mine moved from domain A (www.domainA.com) to domain B (www.domainB.com). 301 redirects are all in place for over a year. But the old domain is still showing in Google when you search for "site:domainA.com" The HTTP Header check shows this result for the URL https://www.domainA.com/company/cookie-policy.aspx HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently =>

Edit: Checked the domainA.com on bing and it seems that its not indexed, and replaced with domainB.com, which is the right. Just Google is indexing the old domain! Please let me know your thoughts on why this is happening. Best,0 -
Breadcrumbs on Mobile How important are they for SEO?
Due to Poor unsightly look of breadcrumbs and the space it takes up above the fold we only employ breadcrumbs on our desktop version. Breadcrumbs are hidden from view on mobile version. However as mobile first indexing is now in play what technical SEO impacts will this have? one thing that comes to mind is crawling deeper pages where breadcrumbs made them accessible in less than 3 link clicks? But i am unsure now of the impacts of not having breadcrumbs visible for mobile version of our site.

Blocked URL parameters can still be crawled and indexed by google?
Hy guys, I have two questions and one might be a dumb question but there it goes. I just want to be sure that I understand: IF I tell webmaster tools to ignore an URL Parameter, will google still index and rank my url? IS it ok if I don't append in the url structure the brand filter?, will I still rank for that brand? Thanks, PS: ok 3 questions :)...

Cached pages still showing on Google
We noticed our QA site showing up on Google so we blocked them in our robot.txt file. We still had an issue with them crawling it so we blocked the site from the public. Now Google is still showing a cached version from the first week in March. Do we just have to wait until they try to re-crawl the site to clear this out or is there a better way to try and get these pages removed from results?
