Keyword difficulty with Moz Pro
-
Hello,
I want to know how moz pro calculates the keyword difficulty? What are the basic things which moz pro consider while calculating keyword difficulty? Whenever i check my site(Sehhaty app) it shows different keyword difficulty. why so?
Thanks.

To chime in as well, you will strongly want to take into consideration what your PA and DA are, in comparison to that of the competition when doing SEO Keyword research. Using the Moz Pro tools is a wonderful place to start (IMHO), but to go one step further, then take the top performers in Moz Pro, and actually look at the SERPs for those in Google to see if your page can outperform the competition.
Hope this helps.

Hey there!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Great question! Keyword Difficulty takes into account the Page Authority (PA) and Domain Authority (DA) scores of the sites ranking on the first page of Google for the given query. We also modify intelligently for the projected click-through-rate of a given page. This puts more weight on higher-ranking, more visible pages and less on lower-ranking, less visible pages. The formula also accounts for newer pages on powerful domains that may have DA scores but have not yet been assigned PA values.
You can read more about the Keyword Explorer Metrics in our Guide.

Best Ways to Use Moz to Increase Rankings
Hello, I work for an online retailer and I have been using Moz for a few weeks now but have had limited success so I wanted to ask how I could better spend my time on this platform. I have been focusing heavily on the Page Optimization tool which has allowed me to rank high on the Google Shopping's Free Listings but it seems to have had little to no impact on the Google All search itself over those weeks. Perhaps I'm not utilizing it properly? I tend to focus on relevant keywords with high volume as identified by the Keyword Explorer tool. Alternatively, is there a Moz tool that might be more helpful? I can provide additional details or specific examples if needed. Thank you for your consideration,

Keyword rank tracking across subdomains
I would like to track how keywords rank across blog.website.com and www.website.com without setting up separate campaigns for each. We don't care if the blog, or the main site rank, we just want something to rank and therefore want to track both sites in 1 campaign. Is there a way to do this without setting up a separate campaign for the subdomain and the main site?

Moz only crawling one page of a campaign, please help
Today I set up a new campaign for a client, however the crawl has only found the home page and is saying that the URL is unavailable. The site is definitely live and the URL is correct. I have set up the campaign 3 times one with the full address (http://www.) one with www. and with just the domain name. All three of these have come page with one page crawled and "unavailable" above the URL. It is picking up the crawl issues on the page and showing domain authority but I don't know why it's not crawling other pages. Prior to setting up the campaign I did a site crawl and Moz found everything then, so I don't know why it isn't now. Please help. Thanks

Moz Pro for simple local seo status reporting
I have a new client on a small budget with a local yoga studio. There's been no SEO work on this site so far, so, after the basics, I plan to work through the items on this list: https://moz.com/blog/top-20-local-search-ranking-factors-an-illustrated-guide I'm a new Moz Pro user and am looking for advice on how to use Moz Pro tools with my client to review progress over time...a simple checklist of reports/metrics to share and track, and to use in weekly status reports. Or, in other words, how can I configure and use Moz Pro tools for basic progress tracking? This is not a sophisticated, SEO-savvy client, so I want to keep things very simple. Thanks for any ideas or pointers. Dave

Where to find answers to really dumb questions about setting up Moz campaigns...
I had a Moz account earlier this year, let it drop for a few months, then decided it really was important to have one. So I'm back. But there is still something about it that I really find frustrating. I can't seem to find any answers to what seem to be basic questions. Maybe they are too simple, maybe they are just dumb questions, but I sure would appreciate it if somebody could lead me to another source of information. Maybe somebody has written a "Moz for Dummies" book? Here's an example: I'm setting up campaigns for my websites, and I get to the Brand and Mentions section. It tries to autofill the space using my campaign name, but that's not accurate. So I go look at the Help Hub for Brands and Mentions, and it gives an example using MOZ as the brand name. But not many sites have a three-letter domain name, do they?. One of my domains is EasyDigging.com (2 words) and the other is BestDryingRack.com (3 words). So I look and look, but can't find any examples of longer domain names. So I have no idea how to enter my Brand. Should it be the whole "EasyDigging.com" or should it just be "EasyDIgging" or should it be broke up into "Easy Digging"? This is just 1 example. I find these sort of unanswered questions almost every time I try something new. Is there a collection of examples anywhere? I really hope so. Surely there are others who learn best from examples, who hate having to guess based on slim or vague instructions. Keeping my fingers crossed that somebody can lead me to the goldmine of good examples. Thanks!

Moz Analytics - Reports
In the guide video (http://moz.com/help/guides/getting-started) a report button is show. However, I cannot see this button in Moz Analytics. I'm assuming this is due to the tool being in beta?
