Google Play rankings?
Hi everyone, I've spent the last hour or two googling information on Google Play app rankings, and a few websites mention that standard pagerank of the app page is taken into account when calculating rankings. This seems to make sense, though I'd estimate it's probably not a large factor, with daily downloads being a much higher factor IMO. So my question is, how much of a factor does standard link-building for a Google Play app webpage have in the rankings?. We're trying to increase exposure of an app we've built (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.onedirection), and though we seem to have more downloads, reviews and +1's than others, we seem to be ranking beneath them. Does Traffic help improve my page rank?
I've learned many things to do to improve my page rank over the past several months (thanks, seomoz). Our website, www.farnorthkennel.com, has improved greatly thanks to your help. Here's my question. I have 13000 fans on FB. If they all read a blog post I put up, does this help my page rank? Does new visitors hitting up my website make the Google gods smile upon me?

Implementing Pinterest On Site and Social Snippets
Hi can someone confirm, does Pinterest use Open Graph Protocol? If you use the Pinterest Widget builder - http://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_pin_it_button Will the image you place in the widget replace the image Pinterest selects if it does use the Open Graph Protocol? The site already uses Open Graph Protocol for Facebook and Google+. It also uses Twitter cards for twitter. It would be good if we don't need to add more html (such as from the Pinterest widget builder) for Pinterest. -- Matt

Social Media valuable for organic rankings?
Is there a link between ranking higher in organic search rankings and having a good social media presence. I think there is, the more likes and followers you have the better. The real question is how to you utilise it, do you regulary share content, put keywords in the share info for the ones you want to rank, how best can you utilise social media to help in organic search? I suspect social noise is used towards some kind of overall quality score in the search engines.

Have you had good experiences of ranking with retweets?
I was reading some seomoz posts last week and for a long time ago they are making some experiences with social medias. I agree that facebook share is more powerful than retweets but also is harder to get it. I would like to know if you have any GOOD experiences with Twitter or Facebook in your SEO campaigns. I got one: I got 20 retweets per day since last week, now my keyword is ranking at 2º positon. What about you? Thanks
