As I read a few posts about MOZ DA updates, it takes generally 3-5 weeks to update the DA or PA of a website. But I don't think it works.
But It has been more than 3 months and my website DA is still stuck to 42. Although we are continually creating high-quality websites.
I guess there are some more factors that MOZ considers in the DA score and we might be lacking there.

Regardless keep in mind Google is moving away from links more and more every day I would not really worry about what a third-party tool tells you look at your traffic and if you're going to earn links remember ink velocity is key you have to keep that it. There is no way you're going to see a huge change just from a couple of links in a short period of time.
The only way you see more traffic from links right away is if they are extremely popular websites in its referral traffic sadly we have to wait for the good stuff when you earn links.

If not it could take a long time for Google to discover it. On top of that it takes some time for MOZ to add it all together on their system. No panic it will all happen for you, good luck

Hi, This is Aamit Sainii, If your domain authority is not increasing even after creating high quality backlinks, I think there is no fault of Moz. It depends on Google most of the time until the crawler of Google will not notice that backlinks which directed to your website, till then Moz or any other DA checker will not count them. In my view you have to wait till google crawler notices them or you create backlinks again.
