Restaurant menu SEO: PDF or HTML?
-
Is it better to use a PDF or hard code restaurant menus (or any document for that matter) in HTML? I want the content to be indexed and thought PDF was the way to go for several reasons, but I wanted to get confirmation on this before I move forward.

From a user's perspective, be sure to look at how the site will show up on a mobile device. Here's a great post from The Oatmeal about what users want vs what they get from a restaurant website in general. http://theoatmeal.com/comics/restaurant_website

For SEO I would recommend HTML, with the option to download a PDF. That being said you should also consider how much time is wasted on doing it HTML. Can the company earn more money by spending their time on something else? I mean how often do people actually search for a certain dish when they are about to go out for dinner. My bet is that they are more likely to do a search like: "Italian restaurant in downtown Berlin" rather then "Broccoli slightly roasted in white-wine". Do you see what I mean?

Impact of Non SEO Subdomains
My company has several subdomains whose specific purpose is to act as a landing page/site for our paid search and/or email program. One of the things I've noticed on these subdomains is that they are not being excluded from the SEObots. Could the lack of proper SEO techniques on these subdomains impact our main www subdomain? What is the proper configuration we should use to make sure these sites are not considered for SEO?

Does anyone use paid seo tools
Hi, i see a lot of people claiming that paid seo tools work, i would like to know if anyone uses them. I have a new site that i am building and i am wondering if there are any good paid tools out there that could help me gain exposure quicker. I get a lot of emails from well known companies promoting their paid tools but have never bought any as i believe you should hear from people who have tried them first. If you feel there are any good paid seo tools out there for help with rankings and link building then i would love to hear about them

SEO Checklist
Ok I know that this would be a huge over-simplification but I am wondering if there is (at least a bird's eye view) a checklist of SEO do's and dont's? I checked to see if something like this existed but could not find one. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks~

You can get more idea by visit following pages. www.vistastores.com/patio-umbrellas www.vistastores.com/patio-umbrellas?p=2 www.vistastores.com/patio-umbrellas?p=3 I have added NOINDEX FOLLOW attribute to page 2, page 3 and so on. There is simple question from my side. Can I remove NOINDEX FOLLOW attribute from paginated page or not? I have big confusion & issues when paginated URLs contain search parameters.
