Website is not getting indexed
-
Hi,
Hope you all are doing great!
I have created a dog blog a few weeks back which talks about all things about dogs (http://pawspulse.com/). I am publishing couple of articles everyday which are more than 5k words long with proper keyword research but still Google is not indexing my content. My content is systematically categorized in proper categories related to dog guides, nutrition, accessories, dog breeds etc.
Can anyone help me how to get the website index faster fully. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks -
@Aman0022 To get your website indexed faster by Google, ensure you've submitted your site to Google Search Console and submitted a sitemap. Also, focus on building quality backlinks from reputable sources, improve website speed and ensure proper internal linking. Additionally, regularly update your content and engage with your audience through social media to increase visibility and credibility.
-
@Aman0022 Initially, I would suggest you stay patient. Google will eventually index your website unless there is any technical error. You can start sharing your blogs on social media like LinkedIn, FB Groups, etc. This can speed up the guarantee. If this doesn't work, then acquire 1 or 2 quality backlinks for an active website.

I was also getting this issue on mywebsite but as soon as I fixed all the issues I mentioned above, my site tookoff like a rocket and all the post started getting indexed.

Check Robots.txt: Ensure that your website's robots.txt file is not blocking search engine crawlers from accessing important pages. Review and update the robots.txt file to allow indexing of relevant content.
Submit Sitemap: Create an XML sitemap containing all the pages you want indexed and submit it to search engines like Google and Bing through their respective webmaster tools. This helps search engines discover and crawl your website more efficiently.
Quality Content: Ensure your website contains high-quality, relevant content that provides value to users. Search engines prioritize websites with valuable content when indexing and ranking pages.
Internal Linking: Implement internal linking throughout your website to help search engine crawlers discover and navigate between pages. Internal links help distribute authority and relevance across your site's pages.
Monitor Technical Issues: Regularly monitor your website for technical issues that may hinder indexing, such as server errors, broken links, or slow page load times. Address any issues promptly to ensure optimal crawling and indexing.
Backlink Profile: Build a strong backlink profile by earning links from authoritative and relevant websites. Quality backlinks can improve your website's visibility and credibility, leading to better indexing and ranking in search results.
Mobile-Friendly Design: Ensure your website is optimized for mobile devices, as mobile-friendliness is a significant factor in search engine rankings. Use responsive design techniques to provide a seamless user experience across all devices.
Patience and Persistence: Indexing can take time, especially for new websites or recently updated content. Be patient and continue implementing best practices for SEO and website optimization to improve indexing over time.
By following these expert recommendations and regularly monitoring your website's performance, you can improve its chances of getting indexed by search engines and increase its visibility in search results.

Well, you should check for noindex tags. Basically, you need to make sure your site or specific pages are not accidentally marked with noindex tags. These tags tell search engines not to index the page, so you'll want to remove them if you find any.
I understand about noindex tags, these are the basic practice of any website when starting your site, I have cross-checked every SEO settings but I cant figure out the reason behind this!

I'm experiencing the same difficulties with the indexing of my recently published posts!
And they seem to be lingering unindexed for an extended period. I've ensured that the content is unique and relevant, followed best SEO practices, and submitted the posts through the Search Console. Despite these efforts, the indexing delay persists. Any insights or suggestions on how to troubleshoot and expedite the indexing process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear that your website is not getting indexed. Lack of indexing can negatively impact your website's visibility and organic search traffic. There are a few potential reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to address it:
Check if your website is accessible: Ensure that your website is live and accessible to both users and search engine bots. If there are any server or DNS configuration issues, it could prevent indexing.
Submit your sitemap to search engines: Create an XML sitemap for your website and submit it to major search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This helps search engines understand the structure and content of your site.
Review your robots.txt file: Make sure that your website's robots.txt file is not blocking search engine crawlers from accessing important pages. Check if any pages or directories are unintentionally disallowed from indexing.
Improve your site's internal linking: Ensure that your website's pages are well-connected through internal links. This helps search engine spiders discover and navigate your content more effectively, increasing the chances of indexing.
Create high-quality and unique content: Search engines prioritize indexing websites with valuable and unique content. Regularly update your site with fresh and engaging content, optimizing it for relevant keywords to attract search engine attention.
Build high-quality backlinks: Acquire backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites. Quality backlinks act as signals to search engines, indicating that your website is trustworthy and worth indexing.
Monitor your website's technical aspects: Keep an eye on technical SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, and slow page load times. Addressing these issues can help improve indexing and overall website performance.
If you've already taken these steps and your website is still not getting indexed, you might want to consider seeking assistance from a professional SEO expert who can perform a more thorough analysis and provide tailored recommendations.

@Aman0022 , I had the same problem with my site https://www.campingseats.com and thought it was because it was an affiliate site, but I did a few guest posts on some blogs that were camping-specific, and that seemed to really help. I still have a hard time getting my new category pages indexed unless I do link-building to each one. So if anyone has any ideas for me on that, it would be appreciated.
However, I used ahrefs.com on your website, and it looks like you are killing it if you ask me. I see you are already ranked under almost 1,000 keywords and getting a couple hundred clicks a month, so I am guessing any indexing issues you may have had are a thing of the past. Nice work on getting a new site up and running and getting traffic.

Page Indexing without content
Hello. I have a problem of page indexing without content. I have website in 3 different languages and 2 of the pages are indexing just fine, but one language page (the most important one) is indexing without content. When searching using site: page comes up, but when searching unique keywords for which I should rank 100% nothing comes up. This page was indexing just fine and the problem arose couple of days ago after google update finished. Looking further, the problem is language related and every page in the given language that is newly indexed has this problem, while pages that were last crawled around one week ago are just fine. Has anyone ran into this type of problem?

Added a canonical ref tag and SERPs tanked, should we change it back?
My client's CMS uses an internal linking structure that includes index.php at the end of the URLs. The site also works using SEO-friendly URLs without index.php, so the SEO tool identified a duplicate content issue. Their marketing team thought the pages with index.php would have better link equity and rank higher, so they added a canonical ref tag, making the index.php version of the pages the canonical page. As a result, the site dropped in the rankings by a LOT and has not recovered in the last 3-months. It appears that Google had automatically selected the SEO-friendly URLs as the canonical page, and by switching, it re-indexed the entire site. The question we have is, should they change it back? Or will this cause the site to be reindexed again, resulting in an even lower ranking?

GA4 showing 2 versions of my homepage
When my website Custom Made Casino switched from universal analytics to GA, i have noticed that now in the behavior section it is showing 2 versions of my homepage which I feel may be impacting seo. It is showing the main url which we use for everything, https://custommadecasino.com/ , and it is showing https://custommadecasino.com/index.php?route-common/home. This was never the case with universal. Does anyone know if this is a problem and if so, how do i fix it so that our proper homepage is what is indexed?
