If I wanted to hire a professional person to build high quality backlinks for me, where would I look? I'm asking here because I'd rather go on the recommendation of other businesses owners, than a google search. Does anyone have a person that they can recommend? It's for an insurance agency in Texas. Many thanks

If you’re looking to hire someone for high-quality backlink building for your Texas-based insurance agency, there are several effective approaches that other business owners recommend. First, freelance platforms like Upwork and Freelancer are popular places to find experienced link-building specialists, where you can browse portfolios and client reviews to find someone who has worked within your industry. LinkedIn is another great option—search for “link-building specialist” or “SEO for insurance,” where you may get recommendations or even introductions from your network. For more niche-focused expertise, agencies such as The HOTH or Siege Media specialize in SEO for insurance and financial services, often with established industry contacts to help secure reputable backlinks. You might also consider SEO-focused online communities like SEO Signals Lab on Facebook or Traffic Think Tank on Slack, where business owners frequently post recommendations. Lastly, since you’re based in Texas, connecting with local networks like the Texas Chamber of Commerce or Texas Marketing Association can provide solid referrals from others in your area. These channels offer reliable ways to find a professional who understands both backlink strategies and the competitive landscape of the insurance market.

@laurentjb the easiest way is to start recommending your site yourself, it's free, try writing articles about your business on the blog platform usiic.co so that they are useful and interesting and invite people to visit your site for detailed information, also do not lose sight of the Business Directory USS.eu.com where you can indicate detailed information or the history of the creation of your startup or a finished project like in Wikipedia so that your readers or future clients know everything about your business and first of all this will give more authority to your project and trust. It is worth starting with this. But later you can contact freelancers on the KWORK exchange

@laurentjb HI! In an article about secure payment gateways, you can add a link like: 'For reliable and customizable payment solutions, UniPay Gateway offers advanced POS terminals and seamless transaction management. Learn more at UniPay Gateway.'"
This approach incorporates the link naturally within relevant content, which is key for building high-quality backlinks. You can apply similar methods in blogs, guest posts, or directories to enhance SEO.

Hi, just to follow up on our previous answer, we would recommend choosing a white hat SEO agency that specialises in your business sector.
Make sure all the work is white hat. Hire web designer also to reduce the bounce rate. -

In the realm of SEO, professional backlink building is a critical component for enhancing a website's search engine ranking. Experts recommend focusing on quality rather than quantity, as high-quality backlinks from reputable sites are more beneficial. Effective strategies include content marketing, guest blogging on authoritative sites, and engaging in legitimate outreach efforts. It's important to avoid shortcuts like paid links or private blog networks, which can lead to penalties from search engines. For those seeking professional assistance, there are services that specialize in building robust backlink profiles through strategic planning and ethical practices.

You can find skilled backlink builders on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or specialized SEO agencies. Since you're looking for recommendations, I suggest reaching out to local SEO experts in Texas or checking LinkedIn for professionals with a proven track record in your industry. If you're looking for long-term results, make sure they focus on high-quality, relevant backlinks instead of just volume.

Footer backlink for/to Web Design Agency
I read some old (10+ years) information on whether footer backlinks from the websites that design agencies build are seen as spammy and potentially cause a negative effect. We have over 150 websites that we have built over the last few years, all with sitewide footer backlinks back to our homepage (designed and managed by COMPANY NAME). Semrush flags some of the links as potential spammy links. What are the current thoughts on this type of footer backlink? Are we better to have 1 dofollow backlink and the rest of the website nofollow from each domain?

Unsolved Backlinks issues.
I am hoping this is the right forum to ask this question. But, I was looking at my backlinks and noticed that I had some go to a page that resembles my site, but had porn words on it. however, it would link to a place on my site. Under more information it has a real link to my site. What is this? I noticed the domain authority was in I believe the 70's; but PA was in 40's. I am new, so can someone explain this. Thank you. example below:

Backlink Transparency with SEO Agency
Hello everyone. I recently started working with an SEO agency and today they gave me an updated keyword report which showed some increase in rankings. I was not aware that any backlinks had been created yet so I asked for a report of the links. Their response is below and I am just wondering if this is normal practice being I have not worked with any type of SEO agency yet. "

Hey Daniel, We release a small report on them which the guest blog team will do soon. We don't reveal all backlink sources unfortunately because people have tried to bother the webmasters we have and basically steal our techniques. But rest assured you will be ranking at the top of the pack with our methods 😃

Nofollow backlinks - are they worth it?
As we all attempt to get backlinks for the sites we manage, I have to wonder if it's worth it at all to get a nofollow backlink. Does Google give and positive credit for a link to a site if it is a nofollow link? Obviously, the follow links are worth pursuing. I'm just trying to gain some perspective. Thanks, Wick

Are Sidebar Backlinks worth for SEO?
Hello! Let's use the following example: I have a blog (let's call it Blog A) and I find another blog in the same niche (this will be Blog B) that has higher DA and PA than mine. Will Google penalize me if the Blog B puts a link to my blog in their sidebar? Remember, the Blog A and Blog B are from the same niche. I ask this because Google says that links on sidebars appears in every page and in some pages the link may be useless. But if both blogs are from the same niche, there won't be pages where the links will be from different themes and with less relevance. So, is my thought correct: we can use sidebar links without caring about penalization ONLY if the blogs are from the same niche? Thanks in advance!

A lot of backlinks from outside of niche – bad?
We have received a lot of backlinks over the years by users putting links on their websites to their home pages on our site, eg: our.domain/user1 our.domain/user2 … our.domain/user100000 There are 10’s of thousands of these backlinks, all natural, but many of them come from blogs that are completely outside of our niche. Only a small percentage of our backlinks 1% to 5% could actually be coming from pages related to our niche, the other 95%+ could be users just linking to their home pages. Could this really hurt us..? We have 1000’s of backlinks related to our niche, yet we’ve noticed that some competitors with less than 50 backlinks can outrank us for certain keywords.. Also related, we’ve noticed these user links popping up on a lot of spammy sites, directories, etc. We didn’t create them but we’re disavowing them now to be safe. So this could also be hitting our rankings.

Web2.0 and private sites backlinks loop hole
Let suppose i have one target page i.e video and one web2.0 blog or wordpress blog. If i keep on adding new articles on web2.0 and in each article i add one back link(with different anchor text) to my same target page. Is this create red flag in google as i will be using one domain? Do I need to keep my web2.0 like bloggers.com and weebly or wordpress blogs relevant to one topic to increase the relevancy score. If i try to keep them relevant my back links to target pages from one domain increases again. I kind of stuck up in this loop help me out!

Will Google penalize for backlinks on non-indexed pages?
Have a client who has a bunch of links from spammy sites that aren't even indexed by Google. Will Google penalize (i.e. Penguin) for backlinks from spammy sites that aren't indexed? I'm guessing "Yes, Google still crawls non-indexed sites and may penalize the sites linked to from the banned site." Anyone have any data or experience with this? Anyone have a non-indexed or banned site? Does Google still crawl it?
