Chrome extensions

I have installed the chrome extension "Check my links". Now how do i run this extension to check links. Which button should i click on ?
Thanks a lot for your patience ! I know this is a very simple question.
-
Links: number of links on the page.
Queues: number of links that still need to be checked. (Will gradually decrease to 0)
First number in green - number of good (i.e. unbroken) links.
Second number in red: number of broken links.
Then, you look on the page for all of the links that are highlighted red. Those are your potential broken links. Be careful of 405s though...any links to amazon products come up as red but aren't really broken. Really, 404s and 500s are the ones you want to find.

Thanks a lot.
The results shows like this -
Links :56 Queues : 0
54 2
What does it mean ?
I checked it for logopie.com
This site does not seem to have so many links.

On the top right next to your URL bar there is a new icon that has a H in it. Click that one and it will start checking links.

Domain Types/Extensions – Are .infos any good ?
Hi I know general concensus is to stay away from the non established domain suffix types and concentrate on .coms .co.uk’s etc etc. But i have an aged .info domain that has some content on it related to a online news paper i have on that subject (on the news paper providers domain sub-folder currently) which i want to focus more time on and put on its own dedicated domain. So i want to upload it to this aged .info domain. However waste of time if .info domains are bad for seo etc Does anyone have any experience of .info doing well in serps or should i totally scrap the idea and try find a new .com etc type domain ? My .info has been live with related content for 7 years so hoping that should count for something 🙂 All Best

Does a GTLD extension 'count' as part of the target keyword?
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me. Reading about GTLDs, I came across this quote from TSO Host: 'What we don’t know is whether an extension can double up as a keyword, which is picked up by Google and treated identically to the rest of a domain name. I.e. - would ‘bristolguitars.music’ have more ranking potential than ‘bristolguitars.com’ as ‘music’ is a relevant search word?' Source: https://www.tsohost.com/blog/how-do-new-gtlds-affect-seo Does anyone know if a GTLD extension does double up as a keyword? For example, if Nike buys 'Nike.shoes', does this double as the keyword 'Nike shoes', or is Google and other search engines just looking at the domain name _before _the GTLD extension? I'm looking at .photography for examples (not my niche) and seeing folks are having mixed results ranking for 'Keyword + Photography', so would be keen to hear your thoughts.

Whats better? A modified .COM EMD or Pure EMD on a new extension?
HI I am planing to built a site. Lets say my keyword is "playgames". I can take for example the domain playgamesnow.com, filler domain. Or I can take playgames.new extension. A pure EMD. My question is whats better? Is it worth to register the domain on a new ( but suitable ) extension just to be shorter and EMD. Or its better to take the modified.COM ( longer and not EMD ). But its a .com It will be a big site, I plan to make an authority, long lasting site. Thanks in advance!

Pages extensions
Hi guys, We're in the process of moving one of our sites to a newer version of the CMS. The new version doesn't support page extensions (.aspx) but we'll keep them for all existing pages (about 8,000) to avoid redirects. The technical team is wondering about the new pages - does it make any difference if the new pages are without extensions, except for usability? Thanks!

Free Joomla SEO Extension?
Hi all -- all along, I have used Tag Meta as a super simple Joomla extension to manage page titles. The most recent Joomla site I manage is using K2. The Tag Meta extension will install, but something with K2 is overriding the page titles that I put in. Thus, I am simply looking for a free (if at all possible) Joomla extension that will allow me to enter unique page titles for each page of the site without changing the Joomla page title of each page. Or, if anyone has had the same problem, I'm looking for a solution to make Tag Meta and K2 play nice. Any suggestions?

Internal file extension canonicalization
Ok no doubt this is straightforward, however seem to be finding to hard to find a simple answer; our websites' internal pages have the extension .html. Trying to the navigate to that internal url without the .html extension results in a 404. The question is; should a 401 be used to direct to the extension-less url to future proof? and should internal links direct to the extension-less url for the same reason? Hopefully that makes sense and apologies for what I believe is a straightforward answer;
