Mozpoints
-
Hello There,
There is a section about Mozpoints I can not understand. It says if you get 500+ points:
Free members who reach +500 mozPoints are eligible for access to the PRO Q&A section where you can respond to and view questions immediately after being posted.
I can now access to this section with my 30 or so points. I am surely getting something wrong. What is the actual benefit?
-
That was the answer I was looking for, thanks Marie. In return I'm giving you some extra points. If you lived nereby I would now invite you for a coffee;) Thank you very much.
-
If you have a paid subscription to SEOMoz then you have access to all of Q&A.
In my case, I had a paid subscription for a while and I was really active in Q&A. In fact, I got my paid subscription so that I could take part in Q&A. Now, I am no longer a pro member so I don't have access to the tools and some other things. But, I can still take part in Q&A because I have >500 moz points.
-
That's right, without a trial and just a free account, you'll need those 500 Moz points to be able to fully participate in the Pro Q&A forum. It's a great forum

You are right, I have a trial. So supposing I do not have a trial, If my seomoz account is not enough I can not participae in the forum?

Hi there, your SEOmoz membership is showing as Pro. Do you have an active 30 day trial then? The benefit is being able to see the answers that people leave and to be able to fully contribute yourself Regards, Simon

Unsolved Questions about travel industry keywords
My question is regarding my current learning of SEO and keyword research. I have been leaning towards Keyword Everywhere, SEMrush, and Google Keyword Planner for keyword research. What do you recommend? I know you might suggest Moz, but I'm looking for something that will enhance and help me find valuable keywords for the travel niche. If I sign up with Moz, will someone from the team help me with keyword research for the travel niche and my website? I haven't found any resources or lessons specifically focused on travel websites and their keywords.

How crucial are H1 tags and descriptions in wordpress categories?
Hi all Trying to improve SEO for my (mostly) local site, www.nectarbridge.com, and recently got back on Moz Pro account. First crawl of my site by Moz, a manageable number of issues that I've mostly sorted, but the category with the largest number of problems is missing or invalid tags. My content pages and blog posts are not missing the tags. It's category, archives, etc., including multiple pages, ex: https://www.nectarbridge.com/category/blog/page/4/ A smaller number of pages are being flagged by Moz as missing descriptions, and they are also category pages and the like. So the question is - how hard should I pursue fixing these issues? I'm using the divi theme, which apparently doesn't display the category description by default (if it did, that would kill two birds with one stone). There is a fix to add the category description, but before I get into that I'm trying to discern whether this issue really matters greatly to SEO or if I should spend that time just working on more content.

Difference in MozPoints between My Account and Q&A forum
I noticed that there is a big difference between the mozpoints showing in my account and the mozpoint showing in the Q&A section of the website. My Account shows me that I now have: 262 Mozpoints. When i look at my Q&A total is says: 303 mozpoints. There is a big hole between the two. How is this possible and which of the 2 numbers is correct?

Maximum number of daily MozPoints?
Since there are no stupid questions, here's mine. I have been answering a lot of questions for people today, but after a certain point, my MozPoints stopped increasing. Is there a daily cap? I'm providing valuable responses, not just saying anything to get more points.

"Opt Out" of free month through MozPoints
This is probably going to sound a bit strange but I'd like it if I could "opt out" of the 200 MozPoints in a month giving a free months worth of membership. The reason being that I am enjoying using the forum but feel like every time I click on a thumbs up for my stuff to get MozPoints, it's like I'm trying to take advantage of the offer... when in actual fact I have no interest in that. Don't get me wrong, I want MozPoints because I want an SEOmoz t-shirt lol, and maybe one day I'll get to find out what the "something really special" is (I don't want to have one of whatever it is, I just want to know what it is.... the curiosity is killing me!) Anyway, what I'm saying is that I would feel more free to use the forums without having this kind of uncomfortable feeling that it may look like I'm just in it for the points to skimp on cash lol. I use the service, I love the service, and so I am happy to pay for the service... not only that but the forums are part of the benefit of the service, so I'd rather not worry that every comment I make may look like I'm doing it for reasons of greed, rather than reasons of interest. So, can we have a thing where we opt out?
