Hello, Just was checking my backlinks and I see that few very strong backlinks are not showing up in my links list. I check with Moz bar in my browser and those are all dofollow links. Some of those sites link back to me a while ago. Thanks, Regards, Armands

Hello, During my last two MOZ crawls over couple of hundred 803 errors showed up. Thought that this might stop, but nop still creeping up. Not sure what has caused this. My server providers are WP-Engine and they already said that all good at their end. Pretty much all of those errors are for photos on my blog. I'm a photographer. I have a web guy as well, but he is not sure what to do now and how to get this fixed. Website is a-fotografy.co.uk Thank you and if someone could shed some light. Hello, I have a question. Sorry if this is been answered before. Recently I decided to do a little face lift to my main website pages. I wanted to make my testimonials more pretty. Found this great plugin for testimonials which creates shortcodes. I love how it looks like, but just realised that when I use images in shortcodes, these are not picked up by search engines 😞 only text is. Image search ability is pretty important for me and I'm not sure if I should stick with my plain design and upload images manually with all alt tags and title tags or there is a way to adjust shortcode so it shows images to search engines. Hello all, Something strange happened with my blog site. I recently signed to MOZ tools. Initially everything was fine, but during my last crawl I got loads of 404
pages. Few days ago I was tweaking some settings in SEO plugin according to this post https://moz.com/blog/setup-wordpress-for-seo-success What I noticed was that 404 pages were coming from my blog posts, but for
some reason category was missing in those posts. For example this link is 404
https://a-fotografy.co.uk/inchcolm-island-wedding-photography-bailie The one with category is https://a-fotografy.co.uk/wedding-pictures/inchcolm-island-wedding-photography-bailie/ So basically for some reason category was missing. Please let me know how can I fix this instead of doing hundreds of

Hello, I'm baby and family photographer. I have done my keyword research. Used Keyword tool. According to the research tool it says that highest local search traffic for baby market would be keywords like cute babies, baby pictures. I asked many of my clients what they would enter in search box if they were to look for baby photographer. Pretty much everyone has said that there would be some form of photographer word in search term with baby word. So like baby photographer, photographers, baby photo studio etc. Unfortunately these type of terms are under 10 searches per month. I have only two relevant pages to target these baby keywords. I'm really wondering who actually uses terms like cute babies, baby pictures. I have a feeling that those searches are made by like photo agencies, newspapers, stock libraries etc. I don't think mum who looks for photographer is suing these search terms. When you do your research, do you take in account metrics or go by more human element and try to look at it from clients perspective. What they would be searching for? Thank you guys, Just don't want to mess up with this and make sure I do the right thing.

Hello, A while ago I had a problem with open site explorer saying that I had a problems with redirects on my home page. There was 302 redirect and it was giving me information from my www domain rather then from non www domain. With your awesome help, this issue is sorted now and when I type in my non www domain, it doesn't give me that weird message anymore. I have a different issue now. For some reason when I enter non www domain it doesn't show links from www version. I presume that this is affecting my site authority for non www version. Does it mean that link juice was not passed on to non www version from www version? Authority dropped by two points, but I'm not sure why. I'm more interested to know why it doesn't show my links from www version on non www version. And is that affecting my sites rankings. Thank you, Regards, Armands

Hi everyone, I have a little problem. Not that long ago I launched my new site. Everything seems ok, but I'm not sure if it was clever idea to have  additional side bar menu option. I wanted relevant content to be accessible very easy without dropdown in main menu. It looks ok on desktop, but we have a problem with mobile devices. Even main menu is a bit confusing and sidebar at the moment is at the bottom of each page. When I placed it on top of the page, we had problem with tablet users as it is showing side menu with blank page and content is almost below the fold. I have a tool installed called usability tools and it shows how visitors are using my site. The hard bit is that nobody on mobile devices are using sidebar and that means people visit one page and leave without exploring any additional resources. Me and my developer are discussing that maybe we should have two main menu bars instead of sidebar, but I have no idea how this looks in real life. What is the best practises for sidebar menus these days? Maybe we have a designer here who can help me with this and do some work? Hi all, I have spent few last days reading here in community and watching Moz videos about keyword research. I used keywords planner tool. Here is the question. When I researched keywords I took into account search traffic nationwide UK rather then my local search volume. My photography business operates more for local customers rather then nationwide. Does it mean that I need to concentrate on my local city/region search volume rather then nationwide. After I have done Nationwide keyword research I realised that most of those keywords which are with really high search volumes are pretty much non existent in my local search results. I meant to the point that keyword search volume is under 10. Considering that I have small number of pages i could use them for, my guess is that it is no point to target those high search volume keywords as most likely those won't be my clients anyway. I might be getting all this wrong, but wanted to ask here. Thank you all, Regards, Armands

In Open Site Explorer i get this message. You entered the URL https://a-fotografy.co.uk/ which redirects to http://www.a-fotografy.co.uk/. Because it's likely to have more accurate metrics, we're showing data for the redirected URL instead. Click here to analyze https://a-fotografy.co.uk/ instead? My current site is https://a-fotografy.co.uk/ not sure why it is redirecting to my old domain. Weird. My web developer couldn't explain this issue. Saying that I also go my first analytics report and in priority issues I have http://a-fotografy.co.uk   302 redirect and not sure where it is redirecting to. If someone could shed some light of how to figure out how to find exactly what is redirecting to what and where is the problem. Thank you guys, Regards, Armands

Hello all. I just received my first report fro Moz Analytics. Signed up here to see what problems my site might have and find out how to fix them. On all of my issue pages I see notice with black dot saying that my urls are Rel Canonical Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical. I know that recently my web developer set up so that every url on my website has a rel=canonical as I think there was an issue with trailing slash. Is this to be considered an issue or I can just leave it? Thank you guys. Regards, Armands
